First, I must add that I am not a frequent pub goer, so my knowledge of a good night out down the pubs is limited. However, I have never been let down by the Bell, either by its atmosphere, its staff or by the terrific...More

The Bell is a lovley pub, good well kept beers and nice atmosphere if not a little grubby, but that sort of adds to the ambience. Last Sunday the entertainment was billed as a tribute to some poor chap who had died earlier in the...More

I have been travelling to Bath for about 12 years and this is my favourite pub in Bath. It has an excellent live music scene with a great variety of acts. Great choice of ales and friendly staff.

Hi Punit, firstly sorry for the late reply, I've been out of the country. Secondly let me apologise for what is disgraceful service from one of our staff. An investigation is underway and action will be taken. Best regards, Arron Whan, General Manager.

Simply the best bar in the universe.. Mahalia and Bastia eminate a profound, inclusive, love..humour.. energy.. that draws customers globally. We would be lost with out them.

Rude bar girl - Friday afternoon staff. Acted like she was above us for some reasons. Place dirty and smelly. No thanks. Used to be super cool and friendly. Not now. Never again thanks.More

Hi, sorry about the experience you had at our pub - can you tell us which Friday as usually there is just a barman serving in the afternoon. We try to address any complaints, and as you can see from the majority of our reviews,...More

I've visited The Bell many times over the years and it never disappoints. There's always a good range of local real ales on offer. I've seen some really good live bands and DJs there too - it's a great music venue. It also attracts some...More

Another Bath "Real ale pub" that doesn't deliver, prices are fair but choice of real west country ales and, especially cider, is very disappointing. Over sweet sickly cider that doesn't represent the west country that is aimed at tourists. Good atmosphere but bar staff are...More
