Glass blowing

We went to the workshop to see the demonstration and to actually blow our own bauble. Good fun with enthusiastic young craftsmen.

I booked this for my daughters and myself to do. It's recommended that you book before you go so this is what I did. On arrival we had to fill out a form as we were going to do the blow in a bauble experience. We were shown through to the back where we could see glass objects being made... More

I made the bauble as part of a group for a 30th bday. It was really nice to be able to pick the colours and work with the pros creating it. I enjoyed everything, however would have preferred further control to do more myself. A little too much hand holding for me. Having said that it was still really fun,... More

We went to the glass demonstration on out final day in bath and it definitely completed the trip. The demonstration we attended was also a blow your own bauble demonstration and they got the baubles done first then got on with the demonstration. It was extremely informative, with one person talking through it and the other working on the piece,... More

What an inspirational team you have! We attended the breath in a bauble session (Sunday 27th Nov) and were BLOWN AWAY by the enthusiasm and skill of the two guys who led our session. To see such passion for an ancient craft in two such young guys was truly uplifting. I cannot recommend this workshop highly enough!

A wonderful place to visit. My daughter and I did the bauble making and although we were the only 2 that day the staff took the trouble to explain the process to us. It was a great little place to go and come away with something very special and unique. Would highly recommend this

Did the glassblowing 'breath in a bauble' experience. About a ten minute walk from the main town, only three of us were in the session which was nice. Paid £34 for two of us which I found very acceptable as you're right in the heart of the glassblowing studio. We got to watch a glassblower make a jug from scratch... More

Watched skilled craftsmen in a display of glass blowing - wonderful. Also did the "Blow Your Own Bauble" which was a unique experience - which I enjoyed and now have my own bauble as a memento. Highly recommend this experience.

We went as a family. My children were very interested though I do wonder how it could have been made more child friendly? They just sit for ages watching, unless you pay a lot to blow baubles (we did - it takes a minute, hardly the most exciting thing ever). Still, it was fascinating to watch and I don't regret...
