Scarper Tours is a small company that offers day trips to Stonehenge from Bath. The small bus only holds 24 people, which is just fine for those of us who really don't like tour-busing with large herds of people. You buy your tickets at the Bath Visitor's Center by the Abbey Church in advance, so your seats are reserved. On... More

We had plenty of time at Stonehenge (2 hours). Convenient that tour included entrance fees. Just what we expected.

The tour part itself was fine. However, it was staggeringly hot on the bus. Granted it was a record breaking, hot day; but the heat made it a less than pleasant trip.

Our guide John drove us from the front of the Abbey Hotel for an hour to Stonehenge noting interesting points enroute. Two hours allotted to Stonehenge which is plenty of time and an hours drive back. The timing is perfect and the fee includes Stonehenge entrance tickets. John was knowledgable and very pleasant. Highly recommended.

This is the second year I've booked with Scarper tours for my students' trip to Stonehenge. Just like last year, everything went like clockwork. Dan (our driver) was very friendly pointed out interesting sights between Bath and Stonehenge as we drove through the beautiful English countryside. When we arrived, he had our tickets and audioguides ready and offered to help... More

We booked this tour to Stonehenge while in Bath. It was about 4 hours round trip. Our guide was friendly and pointed out highlights on our drive to Stonehenge. He was helpful once we arrived. We had plenty of time to see Stonehenge and the visitors' center. The pick-up point was centrally located in Bath and lucky for us, right... More

Nice commentaries, easy to book and to find. Everything was perfect. 2 Hours for the travel to and return, and 2 hours for the stonehenge itself which is enough

I booked on-line - very convenient and saved money. They shuttle you to the site with commentary on the way. You have two hours at Stonehenge, which goes by fast. The guide was good. Would do this again.

We were in Bristol for business and we wanted to visit Stonehenge, which is not too far but not too close either. After exploring all options, we decided to go from Bristol to Bath by train (12 minutes with frequent trains) and continue with a pre-reserved Scarper tour. It was a good choice. The tour organization was perfect (including the... More
