I often cycle along this route as it is so nice to ride on. The ride is very smooth, there is few hills and best of all there is no traffic!

Went here as a group of 15 or so. Age range 6months - 55 years. The young children can ride, scoot, or run in total safety (watch out for other cyclists) We walked through both tunnels, took us over 2hours - we blamed the oldies...More

Such an easy flat walk to do. When walking with my partner we normally extend the walk and loop through Monkton Combe. There is a pub in Midford which makes for a nice place to have a drink before continuing the walk.

A group of us cycled the two tunnels ride back in September and it was absolutely awesome. Cycling through a long tunnel is an experience but when you have chamber music playing to aid the pedaling it is mind blowing!! This is in the second...More

I first encountered the Two Tunnels Greenway when I ran it as part of the Two Tunnels marathon. Running through the tunnels was an amazing experience, and I vowed to return with my partner when I would have the time and inclination to experience it...More

The newest stretch of cycle route is through two tunnels , along a former rail route. The surface is good tarmac, and the tunnels are lit , whilst the longer one has classical music softly playing in the middle!A country side route follows to Midford...More

We really enjoyed this route. We parked at Monkton Coombe as we couldn't find anywhere safe to park at the Bath end but there was plenty of parking in the village. The route is well signposted and the tunnels are really fun. They are well...More

We've done this ride a few times. It's mostly off-road so very handy for taking small children in a trailer. Two minor issues are limited parking outside of Bath and a slightly tricking busy road/pavement section in Bath centre when doing the circuit which really...More

This has quickly become a favourite locally for both walkers and cyclists. However, I'm not sure whom is more dangerous for whom - cyclists or pedestrians - particularly at weekends. Perhaps lanes should be considered! Interesting and slightly eerie string music at intervals through the...More

Just did this walk on a rainy day. Walked from Bath to Midford bridge/station. Fantastic walk thro' the two tunnels, well lit, you have no problems seeing where you are walking in the tunnels. We arrived just in time for opening of the pub in...More
