We visited here as a birthday treat and prebooked a couples package. This included lunch, a couples massage and time in the spa. There was no queue so I cannot comment on whether it was worth prebooking to save time. However we were delayed getting...More

Pre-booked and walked straight in. Told what to do and headed up to the top floor first. Cold in December and a real fun experience in the hot water. Headed down the levels and finished in the relaxing pool. Glad we came to experience the...More

My sister and I spent the night in Bath to break up a trip to Somerset from London, and on a whim decided to try the Thermae Bath Spa. It wasn't a terribly nice day, so I'm guessing that is why it wasn't as busy...More

A visit to the Thermae Bath Spa is a superb way to spend a couple of hours experiencing the different wellbeing rooms and enjoying time in the pool. The facilities are lovely and although the roof top pool was closed due to renovations this didn’t...More

Two aspects to our visit 1st: The Thermae spa. Roof top pool at night is really romantic and impressive experience of lights and colours. Pity several people still decide to bring their phones to a pool, seriously WTF is up with people. Steam baths were...More

Visited with my girlfriend for our anniversary. I had not heard anything about this place prior to going but it became apparent when speaking to friends afterwards that it's 'the' place to go if you're visiting Bath. We've been to quite a lot of spas...More

Was quite pricey for what it was but definitely worth the visit. Lovely atmosphere although roof top pool and steam rooms were quite crowded. Overall a great experience, lovely for couples and very refreshing. Simply because of the amazing views from the rooftop pool it...More

Hello, the wellness suite is included in the £40. I think that 2 hours is enough time to visit almost everything. I guess it depends on how long you can stay in the pools/steam rooms. Also extra time is added to your spa... More

Relaxation Weekend (7 Replies)
Hi all, This weekend I'll be visiting the Cotswolds for a getaway with my partner. I've booked a hotel in Tewkesbury which has come to a reasonable price for half board. I've trawled the forum to get ideas on the area and things to do and have got myself in a bit of a tizzy - would be great if you guys could give me some advice. For our weekend away we're looking to spend some time at a spa, driving around country roads, and seeing beautiful sights. Neither of us are huge hikers, and...More

Just a swim???? (1 Replies)
HI, Will be coming to Bath in June (on a road trip). The Roman Baths are the main purpose for the visit. Is there anywhere, other than the Thermae Spa, where you can just have a soak in the water. It looks awesome but expensive! Sorry. I know this must have been asked hundreds of time but I cannot find it. Raina Australia

Saturday Afternoon Tea @ the Pump Rooms (1 Replies)
I'm spending a romantic weekend in Bath next weekend with my hubby before the arrival of baby number 2. We have booked spa treatments at the Thermae Spa and afterwards I'd like to go for a proper afternoon tea. My research suggests that the Pump Rooms would be our best bet as it's good and close to the spa. However I'm slightly concerned that we won't get a table and have to queue for ages which I don't really fancy as I'm 7 months pregnant. Could someone tell me how long the queue is likely...More

I don't think it should be too bad. You are more likely to find that you are waiting for service as opposed to getting a seat. Don't confuse the Pump Room entrance with the (almost certain) queue for the Roman Baths. if you do find a queue, then there are a few tea rooms close by in the direction of Abbey Green.
