Thermae Bath Spa is Britain's only natural thermal Spa and benefits from the warm, mineral-rich waters which the Celts and Romans enjoyed over 2,000 years ago. Located in the heart of the World Heritage city of Bath, Thermae is a remarkable combination of five historic buildings and the contemporary architecture of the New Royal Bath. Highlights include the open-air rooftop pool with wonderful views over the city of Bath, the flowing curves of the Minerva Bath, an innovative series of steam rooms and a choice of over 50 spa treatments and packages.

What a way to start our holiday!

This was a surprise visit for my birthday and what a treat it was! Although it's much busier than all the official photographs suggest, it's still incredibly relaxing. We started at the roof top pool which was lovely, particularly as we'd had a long drive to get there. Great for stiff, achy muscles. It started to rain a little whilst... More

We booked the twilight package a couple of days in advance. It was still available but we had to have the meal pretty early at 17h30. Don't expect anything super healthy (I did!) despite the fact it's a spa, the menu is similar to a simple pub lunch menu - roast pork / chicken etc with a selection of salads... More

I arrived early and ended up waiting around 45 minutes before booking a basic package to enjoy a couple of hours in the spa without any additional treatments. You're handed an electronic bracelet for entry and allowed to go around the facilities as you please. The rooftop pool is probably the main attraction and has some stunning views over bath... More

We spent all day in this wonderful spa. Starting in the morning with a traditional massage which was so relaxing and a great start to the day. We went to the roof to the swimming pool and floated around in the hot thermal water. Lunch was included in the package. A delicious two course meal the soft drink. During in... More

Very nice and clean. Everyone very helpful and friendly with a smile on their face. Only downside that it was really busy and did not get to try the outdoor pool...Next time! Overall really nice experience and would highly recommend a try

Clean facilities and the different scented steam rooms are a really nice and new idea. The rooftop pool is lovely, although the lower pool is very ordinary despite its apparent thermal waters. Watch out for busy times, it's ideal on a quiet daytime as loud and scantily clad individuals wander around with a two hour pass otherwise Treatments are good... More

I felt relaxed and pampered after my trip to Thermae Bath Spa! We booked a Thermae Welcome giving us access to the baths and then had a massage. I would recommend both, either as a present for someone else or as a treat for yourself. The baths were busy but didn't feel too crowded and everything was clean, impressive considering... More

We arrived and had to wait about 30 minutes to enter the spa which we thought may be a lot worse. All of the staff are very friendly. Changing rooms are clean and have everything you need. The pools and steam rooms were lovely and relaxing albeit the pools a little busy so swimming isn't really possible but it was... More

Go for the twilight package, you get 3 hours spa time plus a delicious meal in the restaurant for just a few pounds more than the welcome package! It's first come first served though so don't wait until 5 or 6! The waters have over 42 natural minerals and they seem to work miracles on your skin and hair making... More

We visited the thermae bath spa on a sunny Monday afternoon, opting for the 2 hour session. You are provided with towels, robes and slippers and a wrist band that locks your locker and acts as payment for any food or drink. The ground floor has a lovely pool with a little lazy river section, jacuzzi and water jets. Then... More
