This imposing church, which is located between Broad Street and Walcot Street as they merge onto Northgate Street, is the same as the one listed as 'St Michael's Without', which is actually the correct name. That name comes from the fact that it was the first church that you encountered outside the original city walls when leaving by the North Gate. The parish name was St. Michael's with St. Paul's, being merged into the one parish in 2013. The prominent south tower (referred to as the W tower) which fronts on to Northgate Street was designed by G.P. Manners

Beautiful 18th century church that is the fourth built on this site. Cafe inside that serves tea and coffee. Located on Broad Street and easy to find. Community feel.

Couldn't tell if it was an operating Church or if it had been decommissioned ? Must admit the Cafe threw me but the Building itself was pretty impressive, a lovely piece of stone masonry art of days gone by !

This an amazing find in the centre of Bath. Inside the church they run a small cafe with offers a selection of teas and coffees, lovely cake from a local bakers, savoury snacks and soft drinks. But there is much much more as the church is beautiful with lovely interior and the sense of peace is in the place. They have a small side chapel where you can sit off quietly. It costs nothing to go in and if you don't want to buy any drinks etc. You can still sit off in the splendour of the building and relax. I almost don't want to tell people about this place because if to many people go it might spoil it!

I dropped in for coffee one morning, mainly to check the venue as I'd booked to attend a concert. Friendly service and decent coffee - a selection of food available too. As a concert venue the church also works well. Decent acoustics and comfortable seating meant an enjoyable evening listening to the Bath Brass band and the Mendip Male Voice Choir.
