This garden is lovely. Many of the flowers smelled heavenly, it is a shame we now breed the smell out of many varieties. It is a very small garden but I decided to stop in and have a look. There are several place to sit and have a rest. It was a very pleasant detour on my walk.

I had heard this was a nice little garden, so we made sure we had a look during our time in Bath. It is a nice, neat small garden, but not a great deal out in flower in April. Worth a quick stop during a walk along the lovely Gravel Walk.

Reconstructed after archeological investigation to emulate a late 18th century townhouse garden. Plaques explain. Free to enter. Small but worth stopping along the back side of the Circus, on the Gravel Walk, where you also see that the facade of the Circus was uniform but the townhouses built onto it were quite varied.

This garden contains plants that would have been grown during the Georgian era. I am not a gardening expert so I can't comment on the authenticity but I did find the gardens lovely and as this is not as popular as other Bath attractions its a lovely place to sit for a while and enjoy the peace.

This was on our 'to do list' while in Bath. It's very sweet, just a small yard at the rear of one of the Georgian Circle houses, but the exciting thing (for a gardener) is that they have attempted to make the garden as authentic as possible. A great deal of research has gone into specific plants and the beds are based on the original beds due to the original edges being discovered during excavations. A fascinating look at a Georgian garden! Recommended for KEEN gardeners!!

Lovely little Georgian garden. Very interesting to read how it was discovered and put back to how it would’ve been. Worth half an hour out of your day.

Found this thanks to another review. Lovely quiet spot behind the Circus, enter via the path down from the Crescent (go left at the first junction). Free to enter. Fascinating to see the research done to allow them to recreate the garden.

Nice little find whilst walking around Bath. Free to enter and worth a quick visit if near the Royal Crescent. We went end of Feb so not much in bloom, but we could see that a lot of care and attention had been put in to recreating this Georgian Garden. I bet it looks and smells wonderful when in full bloom!

Great additional find on the tour of the Circus and Royal Crescent - worth adding this into your walking tour of the architecture of Bath - pleasant little example of gardens that would have graced all the Circus backs.
