River Avon in Bath is a clean & a lovely river. Lovely sceneries around for photographs. People could walk along the river, also take a cruise on the river if interested. There were Geese in some parts of the river which made the scenery even...More

Our guide from British Tours took us on a lovely walk across the bridge to view the beautiful and spacious square - and we did not realize that the shops we walked by were actually part of a bridge over the river! Only when we...More

Shared path (so watch for the msany cyclists!) but good to walk along much of the way from the City Centre westwards. You can see a number of the major developments taking place on the south side of the river, as well as evidence of...More

Catch a boat near Pulteney bridge and take a leisurely cruise on these tranquill waters. A great way to spend a relaxing hour on the round trip with excellent commentary from the tour guide.

The riverside walk is pleasant with some lovely views but like the rest of Bath it’s badly signposted. Trips on the river are available but we didn’t see any refreshment places.

Experienced a 1 hour trip along the River that was not pre booked. No doubt on busy days it may not be so readily available.

Stratford-upon-Avon is one of the nicest places I´ve seen, and it´s especially nice down at the river. You can go strolling over the brigdes and by the water, you can take a boat ride or the foot ferry or ride the wheel. Nice views.

We sat down in the boat in fairly good weather but relatively soon it started to rain so we were all packed in like sardines inside. The trip was pretty much just a boring run up and down the river with very little to be...More
