apparently there are 88 mayor’s guides and they all have a slightly different route and stories to tell - but all are excellent and informative. Today Charles was brilliant on the three great men of Bath and architecture.

This tour is number one for a reason. It is an easy trip and takes in all the highlights of the city and our tour guide provided great stories of the town. I particularly liked the stories of the rise and fall of Beau Nash.

My daughter and I enjoyed the tour with Dan this morning, 10 November 2018. He was very informative and entertaining. He shared information that I would not have gotten walking around on my own.

you just show up, it's not possible to book a place on the tour. They always have enough guides on duty to cope with the number of people
