My wife & I took the tour on Sunday, Jan 2022. We tried booking one day in advance but the booking closes in 24 hours. So we decided to turn up at Abbey Churchyard hoping for a walkin & we were not disappointed. Joy was our lead & it astonished me that inspite of her elderly state, she could talk so much. She was all enthusiastic & a real historian herself. She was also carrying a booklet of pictures which she downloaded from internet & showing us for better reference. I was also astonished that they refused to take any tip, which kind of made us feel bad/sad considering it was a 2 hour tour & Joy being so elderly. I am writing this review as a means to pay back in some form :). We came in a rented car & there is a paid car park very near to Abbey Churchyard called Manvers Street Car Park. You can look it up on google maps. We paid 3 GBP or so for 2 hour of parking there.

Had a fab walk around Bath with our tour guide Joy. And what a 'joy' is was. Entertaining, educational and lots of fun with interesting historical facts. Would recommend this to everyone who has a couple of hours spare to take a slow informative walk around Bath. Thanks Joy.

My partner Dave and I booked the walk for this morning We were lucky to have Joy as our guide. She was absolutely brilliant, she was funny and knowledgeable and made the walk a lot of fun. I learnt a lot about the historic sites but also things I did not know about the occupants of Bath, the socialites and ladies of the night! We definitely recommend it. Thank you very much Joy for a brilliant 2 hours.

Peter was my tour guide today, he took us on an amazing tour discovering Bath’s rich and layered history. He was very informative and the smaller group size (there were 8 of us) meant we could freely ask questions and have a conversation with Peter without feeling rushed onwards. Shame about the miserable weather but didn’t detract from a wonderful tour. Highly recommend.
