A green refuge in a crowded city

A well kept garden park in the middle of the city. colourful flower beds are well laid out and maintained. Nice for a peaceful stroll or a picnic.

For a small entrance fee you can sit all day in these lovely formal gardens right next to the river and only a stone's throw from the city centre

A fabulous way to spend a few hours when the weather is good. The scenery around the park is beautiful and the park itself is lovingly maintained.

The popularity of the play area can be see on weekends when the weather is kind as the place is absolutely packed. The park also has wonderful views to the Royal Crescent so its well worth a visit just for... More

A wonderful large and strolling park area - I wish I was child again on seeing the amazing play park area. Definitely a winner for families. Lots of parking available if driving but very busy.

Such a great place to let the kids run around. We spent 1.5 hours there as there were so many activities for our 4 and 7 year olds. A few of the activities were never seen by us living in Shanghai and originally from Hong Kong. Highly recommended to take a walk around the Royal Crescent, and then end with... More
