The Bath Priory's splendid Garden Spa is befitting of a luxury country house. The indoor and outdoor heated pools are beautiful and intimate; a pool-side sauna, elliptical steam pod and shower complete the picture. As the name suggests, French doors open directly onto the immaculate gardens and allow the sunlight to flood in and wash over this dreamy space. The light and airy Fitness Suite, which overlooks the gardens, is well equipped with the full range of cardiovascular machines and free weights, inviting you to burn off a few calories from your over-indulgent, but oh so scrumptious afternoon tea! The Fitness Suite offers a mixture of resistance, aerobic and cardio equipment including ‘TechnoGym's multi-purpose Kinesis Personal Vision' which allows users to do more than 200 different exercises without making any adjustments.Beauty treatments here are simply blissful and a spot of pampering should surely be a prerequisite for any stay. The four treatment suites provide a tranquil and calm environment in which you can totally relax. The dual treatment suite, complete with a walk-in double shower, is perfect for couples or friends. For a trusted, classic treatment, opt for Elemis to boost your natural beauty. For something a little different, try the LI'TYA treatments - a range of natural skin care products based on ancient Aboriginal culture.

I went for a couples massage, before hand we went into the Spa to relax. The pool is small (there were 3 people swimming lengths and that was comfortable). The 'jacuzzi' is just a sort of state/step in a corner of the pool with a jet of water blasting horizontally from one direction. If you sit in the 'seat' the... More

I always enjoy my visits to the Garden Spa especially during the summer months when the outdoor pool is open. The gardens are stunning and when the sun shines its magical to be able to swim outside in such a setting. The staff are welcoming and always helpful. Yes the pools are not Olympic size but fine for a relaxing... More

I was given the Spa Evening as a birthday treat. Bath Priory is special as I spent the first night of my honeymoon there. Sadly, I was rather disappointed in the spa, which was small with a cramped locker area and no private changing rooms. It was unbelievably hot, too. The pool is small, making it unsuitable for any meaningful... More

I have been a member of The Garden Spa for just over three years. It has proved to be my haven! During the summer months I enjoy the outdoor pool and in the winter the lovely indoor facilities. The staff have become friends and never fail to make me feel at home. Twice a year the Priory Hotel hosts a... More

I have been a member of the spa for 3 years. During the last year I have swum only once, the pool is so tiny and hot it is not possible to swim. I have had a few pedicures by a junior who just went through the motions...hardly cut my toenails they grew like claws within a fortnight. It used... More

We visited the spa for some treatments and were happy with the pool, sauna and steam room. Our treatments were good and the staff were very professional. Robes, towels and slippers were provided. The only reason I didn't give a rating of 5 is because we weren't able to truly relax.....there was a group of children using the pool, and... More

This is definitely a better place to go for your spa treatments when in Bath. The place is nice and quiet, a great getaway from the crowds in Bath centre. Lovely treatment and good setting. A place for retreat.

I visited The Garden Spa with 3 members of my family on a Summer Saturday. Our welcome was courteous and charming. the facilities: changing areas, indoor pool, steam room and sauna were spotless and frequently attended to by staff. Gowns and towels were plentiful: fruit and water available. The spa treatments take place to relaxing music and scented candles in... More

We had a trial in the spa as we were considering becoming members. Overall our experience was good. The fascilites are of a high standard and the spa feels upmarket. There is a small indoor pool (which can get crowded depending on the number of "spa day" bookings), steam room and sauna. The changing rooms are adequate although small and... More

My partner and I visited yesterday after booking an afternoon in the spa, I'd booked for us to have a 30minute treatment and to use the spa facility's and thought at £50 each it was excellent value for money! We arrived in a taxi from the town centre and were immediately greeted by a member of staff with an umbrella... More
