A great racecourse were you can get up close to the horses without having been ripped off financially. The venue is great for hens and stags parties. Close enough to town to get a taxi from a hotel etc. if the sun shines the heart and pound notes flutter, give it a go.

This is interesting because not many people would be reviewing their Works Christmas Party, however, I could not let this one go as the food was simply the worst I had ever eaten. Cynically, I believe with a lot of Christmas Parties, the chef and kitchen staff of these establishments get away with it as many guests drink to excess... More

Went to the last racing day on Sunday the 18th before a total new refit worth millions of pounds. A lovely day out nice and relaxed a small course but with a good feel well worth a look another course ticked off.

Woke up early, the sun was shining, with a forecast to last all day, so travelled to Bath for a day at the races. I have been there several times previously but this time in glorious autumn weather, which makes all the difference! A good 'card' (lots of runners) over eight races. Unfortunately though it appears the track is 'winding'... More

Well presented, easily accessible racecourse. Bars and betting facilities close to hand and screen at finishing post, will definitely revisit.

If you would like a picnic with a difference this is the place to go. Make your way to the Centre Course where you can park up next to the race course, get out your table, chairs, gazebo or just a rug, ready for the thunder of horses to gallop by. If you like to have a small flutter this... More
