I was surprised to find that it's around two years since our first visit to this interesting 'micro pub', but I suppose it is a short walk from the town centre - and there is so much to do on our relatively infrequent visits to Bath. However it was great to find it still going strong, serving some excellent craft ales - and on this occasion some very good malts too. Well worth the extra effort for the experience.

Popped in for a quick drink. Nice and welcoming where you can order a takeaway to enjoy whilst drinking - great concept.

I've been here twice now. The landlord, Michael, certainly knows his stuff. There was a good range of craft beers available on both visits. I had no difficulty finding something I liked. It's a really friendly place and has a great atmosphere. I will be back.

Been coming here regularly since they opened and am very happy to say it is now my local. The owners Michael and Emma are a very hospitable couple who are passionate about providing high quality, independent products in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. They have an superb selection of drinks on sale including spirits, beers, soft drinks and low alcohol options. The Staff are extremely knowledgeable about the products and the draft beers are regularly changed to something new and interesting. My wife is particularly fond of their fantastic Gin and Tonics. They are clearly the best in Bath. You'll not find a more welcoming pub in the South West, quite literally everybody is welcome and you'll find a great mix of people here. One of the best things about this place (apart from the beer and hospitality) is the fact that they let you order any take away you want to eat in the pub. Who needs a kitchen when you can order whatever you fancy? Brilliant idea! They have a great selection of board games to play if you're in the mood. Loos are the cleanest I've ever seen in a pub. Extremely dog friendly too! There's treats behind the bar! You'd have to be stark raving mad not to enjoy a pint or two in here.

We visit as regularly as we can; and can have a different beer every time! Such a great range of craft beers thoughtfully curated by Mike and Emma. Their passion for beer as well as their hospitality makes this one of our fave watering holes! The pub also welcomes dogs - so if you’re lucky there will be some four legged bundles of joy about during your visit. We also love to bring friends here when they come to visit Bath - not only can try some new and interesting drinks, but we usually get takeaway of Chinese or pizza (you can bring your own food into the pub, a great idea!) so it makes for a great relaxing evening out :)
