Good local pub with great beers
Sep 2021
This pub has a great atmosphere for drinkers who like proper beer and pleasant company. It doesn't do food but has a selection of ales and lager.

Great landlord. Very friendly pub. Real fire and fabulous jukebox. On a trail of Belle Vue pubs and a very warm atmosphere.

A great pub for good company and proper beer
Apr 2018 • Friends
The Bell Vue Tavern is a genuine traditional pub selling good beer and is well kept by the new landlord Dave. He makes you welcome and the place has a friendly atmosphere with darts, dominos and quiz teams competing with other local pubs. You can pop in if you have never been there before and find people who you can talk to about all sorts of topics and be made welcome.
The draught Bass is a speciality of the house. It is always crystal clear and in spot on condition. I know I as I drink it every week and as a CAMRA member I really appreciate that.

Very friendly pubs, good company and beer, couldn't see what all the fuss about the golliwog was,it's the pub mascot for heavens sake. Too many small minded people ruining honest folk's enjoyment. Well worth a visit.

Quick drink.

Was disturbed to see a Golliwog attached to one of the hand pumps therefore I won't be going back. Wish I'd taken a photo but it didn't occur to me at the time as was rushed and rather shocked.

Warm and Friendly Welcome - Under New Management
Mar 2015 • Friends
Recently under new management. This traditional community pub has a welcoming vibe the minute you pass through the door. Huge smile from the Landlady awaits you and you are instantly made to feel at home. Traditional comprehensive range of ales, friendly locals. Caters for all ages. Exactly what a local should be!
