With relaxation of covid rules, finally had the opportunity to meet up with a friend in the garden. Collected the most delicious takeaway, squid, king prawns, beef bourguignon and fish pie. Beautifully presented, piping hot and absolutely lovely.

Not sure who owns the “ Brunning and Price “ badged restaurants now but standards have been maintained here . Have visited other “ B and P “ restaurants such as the Red Fox in the Wirral , Architect in Chester , Pant yr Ochain near Wrexham and Cross Foxes , Erbistock . My “ go- to “ restaurant in Shrewsbury , great ambience , good food , parking no problem at Frankwell and the kids on the staff are super friendly and helpful . I’m a Cheshire man but now living in Shrewsbury and enjoying the experience if you discount the Covid and winter weather . Hope you guys can reopen soon cos am gonna miss you . Jeff D .

We have been visiting this establishment for many years - drinks and food - we love the place and the staff. During this very difficult period of the Covid restrictions we decided to go for a special lunch time meal. We were not disappointed, we were attended by Hannah who was delightful and nothing was too much trouble she made the experience so much easier! The restaurant was busy but all socially distanced etc! We had super meals, very tasty hot and delicious. The atmosphere was wonderful and clearly everyone appeared to be enjoying themselves - it is a favourite and rightly so! Well done the chef and colleagues. Turkey and all the trimmings was delicious, followed by a special Bakewell Tart, pear & ice-cream - wow!

We have visited this place on numerous occasions over the years and today, as we had to visit Shrewsbury we made plans to have dinner at the Armoury. As COVID standards go, I couldn’t fault them. It was very safe However the food was really disappointing. The portions have been reduced considerably, and prices put up. We had a starter and a main course and if do little to satisfy hunger.the pork tenderloin meal did not cover 1/3rd of the plate. Whilst the flavours were great, for the price this was not acceptable. Whilst I understand times are hard, it seems that the Armoury have taken the decision to cut corners to make a profit. As a regular visitor it was a huge disappointment

A lovely meal, excellent service, plenty of space between tables, staff all had face coverings, one way system to the loos and way out and in... Can't fault it...
