Great breakfast and nice place to wander around. The cafe serves very good food. Well worth a visit. A little disappointed in the shop as it was full of chutney etc and the veg wasn't to fresh looking However a nice place to visit.

The exhibition covers the Battle of Shrewsbury in 1403 (hence the name of the venue). The shop is top quality and the cafe is simply superb. Battlefield Church next to the centre is built on the actual site of the battle. It's kept by the Churches Conservation Trust, and is well kept. Well worth a visit.

Very pleasant staff good choice of food and drinks, they were busy when I visited but we didn't have to wait very long at all. Food was good we enjoyed our lunch very much. The we had a look around the shop. There's also a museum on site

Battlefield is such a great venue for meeting up with friends and having a coffee or lunch. You can also take the grandchildren and visit the Museum and Chutch site or visit the Falcons. Lots to do and we are proud of such a special site of interest in Shropshire

We were recommended to go to Battlefields when we were down in Shropshire on holiday and we were knocked out by the fabulous farm shop and we bought lots of tasty food to take back to our self catering cottage. It was so good we went back a second time during our week. I must say the prices are far... More

Gentle reader, I have sampled a fair few chips in my time (probably one too many!) and, I must admit, the chips provided by the Sparrow Cafe cooks are beyond reproach! Crunchy, golden and ripe with taste, they make an excellent side dish to any of the equally delicious light lunches or main meals you'd find on their impressively extensive... More

We visited on a really sunny day and got a table outside. The menu is extensive and the food was really good. I would definitely recommend the pear and walnut wrap and the coffee and hazelnut cake! Service was very efficient and the staff were friendly. The café is next to the farm shop and deli which is a great... More
