Great farm shop with a butcher, deli, lots of cheeses, eggs, fresh fruit and vegetables, souveniers, candles, jams and preserves and a wonderful cafe with healthy eats and treats. They have the best scones so make sure you have a cream tea!

The Battle of Shrewsbury is one that has generally been lost but was significant, and worth learning about. The information boards offered an educational walk to the past, explaining the background to the battle, and how it was fought.
