Always good value for home butchered meat and pre prepared meals. Small farm shop. Great cafe for light meals. Small battlefield museum of interest to adults as well as children. Falcons and beautiful birds on show. Interesting walking centre around the battlefield site and really good viewpoint of surrounding hills.

Went for a hawk walk here today, had a great time, friendly, informative. A variety of hawks, falcons and owls, all well kept and they obviously care a great deal about them. There's also an excellent cafe, museum and farm shop on the site.

I took my big brother here for his birthday outing and we both absolutely loved it! We travelled all the way from Leicestershire (a three hour round trip), but it was well worth it. The whole experience was highly informative, enjoyable and very hands on. The hawk walk was exciting, and handling owls afterwards was the icing on the cake.... More

Amazing value for money. We took our children ( boys aged 9,8 &2 ) and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Our children have additional needs and the gentleman ( the owner of Gadsby the dog ) was amazingly patient and thoughtful, taking time to answer questions and spending time encouraging the children to hold the snake and stroke the owl. It... More

Our visit to this attraction was a somewhat delayed Mother’s Day present for my wife. On the day there had been two cancellations, so I stepped in to fill one of the vacancies. I have to say I am very pleased that I did: the whole two-hour experience was amazing and moving. Due to inclement weather we met the owls... More
