Go to the quarry a lot as live close by,days out with the grandchildrenor going for a bike ride great place to visit.

Excellent Park. Amazing place to see seasons change. Nice River walk and restaurants nearby. Great place for couples or families.

Most times of the year the quarry has some colour, but spring, summer, autumn are the best times to visit. Play area for kids, cafe in the swimming baths building, and Riverside walks. Also plenty of pubs close by

What’s not to like? It’s the most amazing asset of any of the towns green spaces. I feel a real surge of privilege every time I wander through. Perfect for a saunter/ dog walk/ picnic.

Not a "secret" garden but, yes, the main park is The Quarry and The Dingle is a smallish area of garden and lake within The Quarry.
