You can’t fault the beers. I started with a Blonde and Katharine went for a Black Knight. The Blonde was what it should be light and refreshing the Black Knight, so I’m told was not too heavy. I moved on to try the Magic Dragon, which was advertised as a keg beer, but not like the legend water CAMRA campaigned against. This is more accurately a ‘craft beer’ which it is good to see the brewery embracing. Katherine moved onto the Red Dawn which suited her well and wasn’t overwhelmed by the original Stout/Porter.

Can’t fault the beer but the food? This is not a dinning experience so the food is there to soak up the ale. We had just been up to the market and there were fantastic scotch eggs and pasties and sausage rolls, we’ve tried them on the past. Some of these would complement the beer better, support the local economy, and please the customer better. I know that price point may be an issue but I would be willing to pay more for a real scotch egg. £2.50 won’t get you a decent bar snack, at least £5 to really complement such wonderful beer.

Had to wait a short while before we were seated (5 mins) but then once inside, really well organised, easy to get staff attention and great range of beers. Seating was well spaced out and doors open so well ventilated. Well done !

Great tour guide, super informative and lovely small brewery. Our group was slightly bigger, and we had some professional beer drinkers and some beginners, we all enjoyed our time. Such a variety of beers go taste at the end too- something for everyone. Loved it!

After visiting the brewery which we go to regularly when stopping in Ludlow we were ignored at the door for nearly quarter of an hour before we decided to sign in and approach the staff inside at the bar. We informed them we had signed in and found a table in the outside beer garden. We were subsequently ignored for the best part of an hour despite politely asking staff several times. Will not be returning! Shame really as we had enjoyed this brewery prior to this!

Arrived at Ludlow Brewery and signed in the Track & Trace book, we waited over 10 minutes at the front desk to be seated but no one came to show us to the table so we went and sat down and informed the bar we had signed in and informed them where we were sitting, they said ok we will be with you shortly. We waited 15 mins and still no one came to serve us, so we went back to the bar and they said someone will be with you soon. During this time we noticed another back entrance to the Brewery where people were just walking in, not sanitizing and not signing in the Track & Trace book and getting served straight away. After waiting 35 minutes we decided to ring the Ludlow Brewery and asked for the Manager, we explained the situation to him and he said he will send someone out to take our order... 10 minutes later!! still no Service so left the Brewery . We felt very disappointed and also invisible at this Brewery, its a same that it has gone down hill due to bad management as we went last year and it was lovely.....

This is a micro brewery in the heart of Ludlow next to the station.

Due to Covid 19 you have to queue up to wait for a seat, and this can be a lengthy process.

It's smashing inside and had extensive seating outside.

Table service with knowledgeable staff.

Excellent choice of beers, something for everyone. No food available, only snacks so eat before you get there.

A great way to spend an afternoon! Our tour guide Dave was fantastic, he is extremely knowledgeable and provided us with lots of information about the brewing process. He then brought us sample beers which were delicious! You can tell Dave cares about what he does, we even returned to the brewery the following day to buy a Mini Keg for our friends. Our favourite beer was the Stairway! Thanks Dave.

My wife and I visited twice during our stay in Ludlow, both afternoon visits. We enjoyed our visits. Draught beers being of great taste and quality. I was particularly keen of "Stairway" (5%). Efficient service, with seating available inside the brewery, in the marquee area or in the open.
Well worth a visit.

Bobs tour of Ludlow Brewery was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable, engaging and friendly. Bob made us all feel very welcome, giving us time to ask any questions. He was brilliant, and we all learnt a lot about Ludlows beers! Thanks Bob 👍🏻

Visited this brewery tap during the restrictions so had to sit in an awning rather than the bar itself. Good selection of there own beers to drink here or take away. Plenty of parking nearby. The only down side was that they did not sell a paddle of tasters which I have had in other breweries.
