Cool
Sep 2021 • Friends
My twin brother Stephen and I decided to jump the tram down from Sheffield City Centre to Hillsborough to visit some of the great pubs in this area of the steel city and while heading to The Brass Monkey Craft Beer Bar we decided to stroll through Hillsborough Park.
A quite big park ,lots of well established trees, lovely well kept grounds and bench seating throughout, lots of wild life here ,spotted some squirrels which was cool and really enjoyed our walk around this great park ,its really easy to locate down Middlewood Road in Hillsborough, most definitely well worth checking out.

Where wally ( not on about chansiri)
Jul 2020 • Solo
Lot of ground no boats. Couldn't find wally either which was annoying.

Maybe sell maps to help me find my way around.

Too much dog muck not enough cat muck.

Bought fish and chips from the local butcher but the ducks came and stole them. No help desk to help with my problem so I'm now £12.39 out of pocket due to the wild ducks with no muzzles.

Hillsborough park
Mar 2020
Quite a big park, tennis courts, large lake containing all kinds of birds even swans, playground for children, there is Hillsborough swimming baths across the road from it at the front, & round the back there's a decent shopping precinct, there's also a walled garden in Hillsborough park that's worth seeing.

Fun for our little one
Nov 2019 • Family
Our 1 year old absolutely loves the children’s play area which is well kept and contains everything your little one would enjoy.

As always, the park is super well kept and is a pleasure to pop round.

Lovely park
Aug 2019 • Couples
Went to the park for one of my hubby’s weekly Parkruns. There is a large car park which is 50p an hour, not too bad
Hillsborough Park features a fishing lake, a bowling green with pavilion, a walled garden, tennis courts and a playground and a library
A nice space which is tranquil and well maintained, perfect for a picnic or for kids to play on the playground
They are planning to put a cafe and toilets in one of the old buildings, the plans have been submitted, hopefully this all goes through as it will add to the park
Would visit again if in the area

Well kept park
Mar 2019 • Family
An excellent area that provides open grass space, a lake, and a swing area for children.Lots of people walking dogs too with well-maintained paths or grassy area for dogs to walk on.

Relaxing Family Day Out
Sep 2018 • Family
Very well kept park, peaceful and big enough to not be on top of others enjoying the park.

A nice place to take the family.

Birthday in the park
Aug 2018 • Family
We decided to have a party (picnic) for our daughters birthday. It's a great park with a brilliant play ground and adventure climbing frame. Lovely pond with plenty of wildlife. Only downside is we couldnt find any toilets or an on site cafe, so it's no good for a full day out. Also you can't use the car park if Sheffield Wednesday are playing as they have the rights to it so many hours before and after a match which is annoying.

Park run
Jul 2018 • Family
9am Saturday you can join in running walking or jogging around this lovely park. Or turn up at a more sensible time and date. Good cafes opposite and library and walled garden within the boundaries.
