Top Notch show. Should be moved to Westend. Music is fantastic not your typical musical format of band songs and a couple of good ones this one you want to buy the cd. All the cast were superb - the dancing was great and I laughed throughout the whole show. Its only on until the 25th - go and see... More

This is a great airy, modern theatre. The bar area is great and feels comfortable. The seats in the theatre were also comfortable and the staff were great. The show was amazing. We saw 'Everybody's talking about Jamie'. We travelled from Berkshire especially and were not disappointed. Great theatre, brilliant show.

The Crucible holds a special place in my heart. It was a job in Born Yesterday 1990 that lead to moving to Sheffield permanently, so I try to support the theatre and see most of the shows. Despite a brutalist facade the Crucible has a soft centre but has never quite achieved a really welcoming atmosphere, despite the cafe and... More

Everybody's talking about Jamie is a must to see fantastic honest powerful true life story about a 16 year old boy and the pain he has to go through to be able to find himself and believe in his dreams the show is on until the 25th of February worth every penny.

The Crucible Theatre provides an enjoyable and unique experience. It is enjoyable because it stages productions which, over a period of time, satisfies the tastes of any discerning theatre-goer. It is unique because of its layout, particularly the thrust stage which ensures that any member of the audience is close enough to the stage to see and enjoy all aspects... More

We've been to the Crucible a number of times, but never to the Studio so didn't really know what to expect except that there were no allocated seats so had to be there early :) No problems with finding good seats in Tier 1, though a number of people seemed to have a few problems in finding the two doors... Always have terrific productions on at the Crucible, which usually go on National Tour finishing in London's West End. The thrust stage makes interesting viewing and challenges the actors to be seen from all angles.

We've been here loads of times to see/hear top class classical chamber music and other concerts and sometimes the odd play. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and musicians, really good sound in the studio, informative leaflets, seats near to the players, good information on the booklets about when concerts end as well as when they start, good for making arrangements such... Tickets hard to get many seats gone before you are able to secure them. Had to wait hours in a queue , the queues are very long. On line also queues take ages.
