Was at SciFi in the city as I had won VIP tickets, the venue was large with lots of bars, soundproofing was excellent in each room, the only downside was the prices of the bars two pints of sutherbies cider and that's a cheap cider...More

First time at this venue over the weekend, for the Hard Rock Hell Sleaze gigs. Layout is superb, with good views and sound from pretty much anywhere you choose to stand. There’s a bar at each end of the downstairs room, and even though the...More

Great venue for a concert. Intimate venue with good views. Balcony closed off for concert but this just added to the atmosphere. Only downside for me is the bar prices and the bar provision. £5.25 for a pint of Guinness. Not enough bars for the...More

Was a little skeptical given it is a refurbished nightclub. Queue was long as expected, unfortunately there were quite a few people smoking spice and in a zombie like state disturbing people in the queue. (Maybe relocate which side the queue goes) security at the...More

We went to the O2 for Tokio Myers. We took our 11 year old with us and I was a little nervous about this just with it being more of a smaller intimate venue compared to an arena. There were security checks on the door...More

Good small venue, event over two stages, toilets not bad but drinks expensive. Good job we could come and go during event to get food and cheaper drinks. Free tap water was available. Bar staff and security friendly and helpful. Will be heading here again...More

Attended this venue for the above blues weekend. Great smallish venue with good sound. I don’t know if the bar prices were normal for the o2 or whether it was the HRH weekend prices. It was £5.25 for an average pint of San Miguel which...More

I liked this o2 academy, its quite big and has a couple of bars although you should avoid the bars unless you have just won the lottery that night because you pay £5 for a pint of piss-like cider, a very cheap brand not strongbow...More

Went to see Bowling for Soup this month and Scouting For Girls before Christmas last year. Intimate sized building, usually a bar somewhere with a small queue. Toilets were clean which is surprising for a music venue. Can’t really fault it!

Being their hometown, we wanted to see WSS and enjoy the atmosphere. However, it wasn't as hyped as we'd hoped for. The venue itself is good, you can generally see the stage from anywhere. If you want to stand on the balcony, get their early....More
