Take in the Tai Chi on the main lawn opposite the Childrens Hospital on Saturday AM. Feed the ducks or just walk like a Victorian. A nice way to pass an afternoon.

Best park in sheffield for young children no matter the weather. Not too big, ducks, museum, life size preserved animals, activities and always an ice cream van by the gate!

If you look on museumSheffield site, there is an education section which gives contact details, information and allows you to book a visit. I am not allowed to post a weblink, but it is easy to look up.
