World War One and Two monuments with fantastic landscaped gardens with refreshments, currently harbouring part of the Herd of Sheffield elephants. A peaceful and reflective space to spend hot summer days. A green oasis at the north end of Sheffield.

Haven't been in here for a while, sadly most of it is closed undergoing refurbishment, badly timed I would say for the summer holidays. I would give it a miss until it is fully open, there is an overpriced cafe and gift shop. The park surrounding the museum is beautiful and lovely for a picnic.

Went to visit the park, as we were looking for the herd of sheffield. The park is very spacious and plenty of seating areas. Kids seem to enjoy running around and there also the museum there that's free entry

After you've visited the fascinating museum, take a stroll around this attractive park land. Beautifully laid out and maintained with many lovely focal points and a lake. Watch out for your sandwiches if you're near the lake......! Lovely to sit and picnic.

Visited here for the TASTE fun run on the 9th July. The grounds are beautiful, so scenic. Loads of places to explore and is perfect for kids. There's also ponds where I saw people fishing on my run around. Definitely worth a visit!

This is a brilliant place to visit for the whole family. There are fun activities for the kids and they make it interesting for them to learn from.

What better way to spend a lunch hour walking around this little gem of a park. Whether you want to chill for a moment and sit reading a book or watch the ducks it tends to be quiet, out the way of the crowds with the majority appreciative of the break in the busy nature of life.

I used to live in Sheffield a long time ago and went back today for a visit. The park is as lovely as I remembered it and well worth a visit if you are in the area. Just avoid the museum.
