This is an impressive city centre feature and a great place to take a break. Complements the adjacent Winter Gardens. There are some good places to eat nearby. The whole area was dressed as a seaside resort when we were there, complete with fun fair!

We were at a wedding at the Town Hall and the photos were taken in the Peace Gardens as the Town Hall is next door. A lovely place. It was very busy

There was a fair going on when we were there. So the kids really loved it. It is a small but good fair. Very close to the shopping area as well.

Lovely gardens in the heart of the city. Really well maintained and feels really friendly. There was a fair on when we visited which only added to the atmosphere.

Part of the visit was... More

We went here for the beach party event this summer. It was an excellent experience for kids of all ages while in the school holidays. There was a beach front effect as well as rides, doughnut stands, everything you'd expect to find on the sea front at any coast

Nice outside space in the city centre. Peaceful and lovely in the sunshine. Local bars, restaurants and attractions nearby.
