Really enjoyed today's walk in the Biotanical Gardens. Loads of things to see, 17 month old loved walking around and chasing the squirrels. Bear Pit is a must. Would recommend going on a weekend as can park outside for free. In the week, you can't park there. Great little freebie and has 3 of the elephants for the herd of... More

It's a long way from the centre of Sheffield but on a nice day is a lovely place to walk around. Being free I didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised. The greenhouse had some really interesting plants. There is a café but we didn't try it

Hardly surprising we love the Botanics when our garden banks onto it, but this has always been one of our favourite places in Sheffield and still is - and it was in my childhood too. Hard to remember at times, when you're in it, that you're a mile from the centre of the fourth largest city in the UK outside... More

Lovely place for a picnic, beautiful gardens and plants coffee shop, nice for a walk, we managed to park right outside the front but just think we were lucky, parking restricted round that area.

The Botanical Gardens are very well maintained, with lots of interesting paths to explore within the park area, and a myriad of interesting plants and trees to see. There are lots of benches to sit on, to relax and admire the plants and views of the park areas, and some interesting sculptures and other attractions, such as the unusual Bear... More

Walk round the beautiful gardens, see the rare plants and ancient trees. Sit a while and drink in the views, then head to the café for refreshment ....

Always a great place to aim for. Every time we have guests we seem to head to hear. Always interesting, always something different but the kids are always glad to leave to go to Endcliffe Park and get a ball out.
