A real jewel in Sheffield's Crown as an outdoor city. Beautiful setting, easy walking in the main, abundant wildlife...dippers, wagtails, herons, kingfishers, woodpeckers, nuthatches, tree creepers and much more...my only gripe is the lack of appreciation by the minority of dog walkers that this is...More

Lovely place for walks for all ages. Not too energetic and has a nice cafe. Interesting industrial features and references.

a wonderful valley reclaimed by nature with loads of history in between the trees, trickling water, mini water falls and old buildings

I have visited this area many times, and each is a pleasure. Gentle streams, the remains of an industrial past, and good walks. Plenty of parking, with car parks reasonably priced and interspersed through the area, it's definitely worth a visit.
