looking for new places to visit - some interesting items, and not bad place to pass the time. café OK but could do with a better range and choice, plants - will go back and see in summer but all in all a pleasant place to spend a few hours mulling around

Almost hidden down a country lane this cafe is a surprising find. The two simply decorated dining areas are enhanced by items from bygone years and an array of teapots are used as flowerpots. The food is delicious, tasty homemade food in generous portions. The children's platter at £3.50 is excellent value, and besides sandwiches comes with tempting carrot sticks,... More

Originally started as an outlet for the herbs grown around the barn. Over the years has evolved into a small garden centre complete with maze; shop selling 'interesting' consumables, beauty products and 'knick knacks'. Nice restaurant/coffee shop in the conservatory. Well worth a visit to find the thing you never knew you needed.

My daughter and I visited for a quiet snack and it was grim. Granted we heard there were problems - no chef, - but surely the most basic skills can deliver a heated sausage roll in less than 30 mins and two decent cups of coffee. The staff did not know the difference in serving a flat white and a... More

We're local and have been going here for many years. While the food has always been good quality, the best thing about the herb farm is their wide and varied selection of herbs. I've discovered several varieties of herbs I didn't know of before that have become staples in our garden every summer. The staff has always been helpful (sometimes... More

Our daughter recommended this as dog friendly, her dog we were looking after! She was totally right, what a lovely place, the staff were so kind, the food was lovely, we were so sad that we had left our labs at home, heyho! Next time, lovely shop etc. etc. will return.

The cafe is under new management and came up to expectations, with good food and a pleasant ambience, even tho it was raining when we were there. The selection of herbs and plants is extensive and the shop has some unusual items useful as gifts, just the place to visit just before Christmas when looking for something different.
