With a great selection of race cars and circuits from around the world, we specialise in running competitive, fun and safe race simulation events. All the thrills of racing with none of the spills. You can just come in and race by yourself, as a group, for a birthday party or come to one of our special race nights.

I've been here at least a dozen times, never disappoints. Staff are really helpful and are passionate about their jobs. There is so much choice for cars and tracks that anyone can enjoy! Would recommend anyone to go whether it be a competitive or a casual race

I took my 10 year old grandson to The Race Hut, first time visit for us both. Greeted by Charlie and he explained the cars and how to get the most from our visit. He recommended which level car to go for and level of difficulty (he had obviously seen my driving skills) so beginner it was. My grandson and I absolutely had a blast. My grandson very quickly adapted to the driving and was lapping as fast as I was, so was very competitive. An hour later and our session was over, great fun and value for money. We will definitely be returning.

Thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon at the Race Hut, as we booked the venue for an international group of colleagues, made up of men and women from a handful of backgrounds and cultures.
Charles and the team made sure the event ran smoothly, from the initial welcome and briefing to the podium ceremony at the end. A clean & comfortable environment, and a fully stocked bar helped as well!
Highly recommended.

My boyfriend chose this as his birthday activity. He’s a massive car fan, and we both watch formula 1, so it was spot on. I never play car games and still found it really fun. We did 2 hours and it flew by. You can switch track and cars each time. Staff were really chilled and friendly, and for shorties like me they provide a booster seat (ha!) They have drinks (inc alcohol) and snacks for in between your sessions which is a nice touch. I’d recommend it if you wanna treat the car-fan in your life :)

Amazing facility with numerous high class simulators. Great day out for the guys or the girls. This would be a perfect work day out experience! Staff are super friendly and helpful. An amazing range of cars and tracks to choose from. Fully immersive experience and great for competitive people. Much cheaper than buying a track day car!

We took our children (aged 8 & 10) here today and it was great. They loved the driving experience. The place was clean, welcoming and lots of fun! I’d like to have a go myself next time! We’ll definitely be back.

Overall I enjoyed the experience at the race hut, but it was spoilt by a few things. 1) we’d booked the f1 experience, but 2 of the 4 races were in a bmw. 2) my machine broke down completely after the first lap of my second race, to the point that they were still trying to reboot it well after everyone else had finished the race. 3) I lost my gears and steering during the third race, and after holding my hand up for attention, had to shout for someone to come and sort it. And 4) after all this, there was no apology given. Overall, came away pretty disappointed after driving for over an hour to get there

We had previously visited with friends and really enjoyed our experience. Therefore I booked for 4 of us to race as a birthday present for my dad. However this time around the session was much more rushed, mainly as they had a kids party arriving after us so wanted us to finish promptly. Consequently some things were missed and not explained as well as our first visit - for example that poll position would be reversed on the last race. After each section was completed we were shown the winning driver and other finishing positions, but during our previous visit we also were given additional details like fastest lap etc which had been nice and was missed this time. Finally at the end we had our photo taken on the podium, however there was no mention of the trophies. I questioned this and was told, 'we don't have any today, it's not my fault it the managers responsibility'. I know these are only cheap novelty trophies but it would have been a fun reminder of my dads birthday, and it is still something you pay for when you book the experience. If this had been addressed when we first arrived it would have avoided ending the experience with a disappointment.
Overall this is a fun activity to do. However it is expensive when buying as a gift for a few people and this time around it was disappointing for the £120 paid.

Thanks for your review however we are very disappointed about the dis-satisfaction of your recent visit. Our timetable, although needs to be managed by our staff to avoid delays etc, should not warrant any kind of 'rushing' as we understand that this would taint your experience somewhat.
Therefore, would you mind sending me an email (to chaz@theracehut.com) with your event details (time and date) so we can investigate this further. I would also like to invite you back in for a session on the house.

really good set up and very realistic track driving . choice of many types / makes of cars on the simulator. great for kids but stick to the easier cars or you'll be all over the place ! Good stocked bar so for those who haven't driven to the venue you can relax and have a few drinks.
