My visit here last year was a disappointment, over priced average menu. Didn't enjoy my visit and left £200 lighter. I've spent considerably more on dinner and not given it a second thought but if my bill is in this region I expect to be presented with something to be excited

This is a really pretty and historic pub / restaurant in rural Oxfordshire. The menu is good and the food didn't disappoint. My scallops and black pudding starter was especially delicious. The wine list is pretty good too. The let down is the service, which was umimpressive
