This is the fourth escape game and was great fun, just as good as the others. It had a nice mix of some of the elements we liked from previous games, and the difficulty seemed spot-on. Tricky enough to get you thinking, not so tough to leave you stuck. This is also one of the few escape rooms we have found that cater to teams of two. We will be back to complete the second room!

Went here for something different to do with my girlfriend on a weekend away. The game was very different and we loved it.
The guy who ran it was very professional and helpful. Made the whole experience great fun.

My girls bought this for my 66th birthday, as I prefer experience rather things as presents. No expectations of what to expect, so 4 of us turned up at the door to a flat above a shop! OK let's go for it. 😊. Up the stairs into a small reception, two people sitting there, we introduce ourselves. The man stands up and says follow me. He leads us up to another room and hands us a piece of paper then leaves. The puzzle start here; Our task was to stop an assassin from killing the president by unlocking a computer. No more or I will give it away. Only to say it was a lot of fun as we tried to break the clues in 1 hour. Did we stop the assassination. O yea with 8mins 32secs to go. Something different, worth a visit

This escape room wasn’t up to scratch in comparison to others I have visited. We did the ‘Broken time’ room and found there was very little in terms of theming and the props were low quality. Customer service was not great with little enthusiasm from our host. Unfortunately I feel there are higher quality rooms which are much more fun and immersive elsewhere.

The rooms here were shabby and a part of one of the puzzles actually broke while we were trying to interact with it, not through excessive force on our part, it just came off.

The general state of these rooms was poor; there were signs of serious wear and tear in the room. It appears these rooms were put together at the cheapest possible price with no thought given to the presentation or the end user experience.

In regards to the puzzles there were some leaps of logic which we were apparently supposed to make which weren't consistent throughout the room. They also use a directional lock in one of the rooms which wasn't explained beforehand (we knew how to use it but anyone who isn't used to them may become stuck through no fault of their own).

Thankfully we booked mid-week so got a discount off the price but even with that discount we wouldn't consider these rooms worth visiting.

We have completed around 30 different escape rooms and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. The guy running the show was incredibly rude telling us he wouldn’t be letting us out if we needed the loo, warnings if we misbehaved in the room (two adults playing the game!) and the quality of the room was diabolical and hadn’t been cleaned in months. Part of it involved us lying on the floor. We lost 7 minutes of our time due to us being 3 minutes late and the guy saying that our time had started because we were late - not even a hello on arrival. This was followed by a 4 minute safety brief and of course there wasn’t even anybody waiting to go into the room after we had finished. We have never had an escape room start the timer before people arrive. Absolute joke don’t bother.

This was the fifth exit game we have played. The room is small and the props are very basic. The briefing and customer service was poor, and there was no excitement generated before we entered the room. Puzzles were similar and not very difficult. For your first time, maybe worth trying, but an experienced exit gamer would find it disappointing.

Having never done an escape game before, we were unsure of what to expect, but the girl who hosted us explained well and once we got the hang of it, it was great fun. We needed several clues and could not have completed it without help. We were observed on a camera and then the monitor in the room gave us clues at appropriate times to enable us to complete the mission with a short time to spare. We just went as a couple but could have done with another brain or two! There are toilet facilities for visitors, but access is up a flight of stairs and I do not think there is any wheelchair access.

Literally can’t undertand how this escape room place has such good reviews as it is TERRIBLE!!

First of all, it’s really difficult to find, I guess that was the hardest part of the challenge! We were searching for some time on google maps and found a doorway which led to it, the sign was inside, would have been helpful outside so we could actually find it. The man was so rude, he didn’t say hello he said “you’re late your clocks already started” we said but it’s only 17:32 and we had to be here for 17:30-19:00, presuming the briefing would take place first then the escape room since you only get the room for one hour but pay for 1 1/2 hours? We said we were late because you didn’t put your sign out, he then started ranting on about how our timer has now started and that’s that because people were coming in after us (which wasn’t true) he was busy watching the football which was on loud and we were certainly an inconvinience for him. He stood staring at us making us feel really uncomfortable until my friend said we’ll come on then give us the brief so we can go in if our time has started. Already putting us in a bad mood he said “it’s the door up there”, it looked like some dodgy old run down flat. When we got in the room everything was broken and out of order, it was utter rubbish. We didn’t even need to find two of the codes to unlock clues because the items were broken so you could just take them out. Two of the locks were out of order and the mirror was smashed, there were just signs everything saying “out of order, do not touch, do not move etc” it was almost comical how bad it was! Everything was broken and dirty. I dread to think when it was last cleaned.

When we finished the guy just said you had 9 minutes to spare. Then didn’t say bye.. or like say well done that’s it hope you had fun.. literally nothing.. we were like.. do we just go? So we just walked out and he didn’t even say bye.

Literally spent £40 for 3 people to do this, my advice is keep your money or go elsewhere, I literally don’t understand how this has good reviews it was SO bad!

Four of us went to Exciting Game in February 2019 using a Groupon coupon making it very good value. Our challenge was different to the more-common 'escape' challenge; ours was to find a hidden diamond within an hour before the home-owner came home (i.e. we were crooks!).

We parked in the Waitrose car park which is roughly behind the centre - it cost us £2.50 for a two-hour slot. The centre is through a ground floor door squeezed in between a row of shops along the 'odd-numbers-side' of London Road. It is thus easy to find, and you go upstairs to reception.

It was important that we had read the prior instructions (sent to us in advance when we booked), as the pre-game briefing was rather weak and not very enthusiastic. This part of the experience could be SO improved (imagine how Disney would explain the challenge we were about to experience!!).

No spoilers here!! Suffice to say there is a collection of very good, challenging, mind-bending problems to solve to find the diamond. Five clues are available via a provided VHF radio.

Apparently 60% of participants succeed, and 40% do not. I am pleased to say we completed with just 2 minutes 20 seconds to spare. We were REALLY exhilarated by this, and spent the evening reminding ourselves of what we had done and how we had done it.

Sadly, the post-game briefing was limited to "I Have another game starting shortly, so you'll have to leave shortly". Again - imagine how good it COULD have been with say a photograph or a certificate of some other memento...

We 100% enjoyed the experience and were really glad we had booked it. It was the first such experience we had participated it. Highly recommended.
