Having completed 30-40 Escape Rooms before, I feel suitably qualified to cast judgement. I was lulled in by their professional website and discount offer, well even with the discount, attending the 'Broken Time' was still a waste of money. The room is run down and had a variety of 'puzzles' that didn't operate as expected. We also got to a stage where we were stumped and assumed we had missed something, to then be told, "you have to just try trial and error" which isn't intuitive, nor does it require any problem solving skills. All in all we left disappointed with the room and were further confused when the host didn't really say anything we when we exited. No photo or timing and barely any interaction. There are far better rooms out there to spend your money on!

I visited here with some friends and could not be happier ! I don't know why there are such bad reviews, I feel people can be so salty and negative and expect high class escape rooms. Yes it's true that it's based on top of a shop - but once you go into those rooms, it's very challenging and fun ! Vinny the host was so professional and welcoming on arrival. He talked us through everything and explained that if we needed anything whilst inside to give him a shout. He also has a great sense of humour. Nethertheless - for the price you pay it's definitely a good experience and I can't recommend enough. As for the mirror being cracked in the room - it's part of the scenery! The reviews here make me laugh !

All a bit shabby, broken mirror in main room and ended up with one of the puzzles failing meaning we couldn’t finish as a door wouldn’t open. Left disappointed and unlikely to return.

My son played this with friends last evening, and couldn't stop raving about it. They all loved it! Highly recommended.

Literally can’t undertand how this escape room place has such good reviews as it is TERRIBLE!! First of all, it’s really difficult to find, I guess that was the hardest part of the challenge! We were searching for some time on google maps and found a doorway which led to it, the sign was inside, would have been helpful outside so we could actually find it. The man was so rude, he didn’t say hello he said “you’re late your clocks already started” we said but it’s only 17:32 and we had to be here for 17:30-19:00, presuming the briefing would take place first then the escape room since you only get the room for one hour but pay for 1 1/2 hours? We said we were late because you didn’t put your sign out, he then started ranting on about how our timer has now started and that’s that because people were coming in after us (which wasn’t true) he was busy watching the football which was on loud and we were certainly an inconvinience for him. He stood staring at us making us feel really uncomfortable until my friend said we’ll come on then give us the brief so we can go in if our time has started. Already putting us in a bad mood he said “it’s the door up there”, it looked like some dodgy old run down flat. When we got in the room everything was broken and out of order, it was utter rubbish. We didn’t even need to find two of the codes to unlock clues because the items were broken so you could just take them out. Two of the locks were out of order and the mirror was smashed, there were just signs everything saying “out of order, do not touch, do not move etc” it was almost comical how bad it was! Everything was broken and dirty. I dread to think when it was last cleaned. When we finished the guy just said you had 9 minutes to spare. Then didn’t say bye.. or like say well done that’s it hope you had fun.. literally nothing.. we were like.. do we just go? So we just walked out and he didn’t even say bye. Literally spent £40 for 3 people to do this, my advice is keep your money or go elsewhere, I literally don’t understand how this has good reviews it was SO bad!
