Our (re-arranged) Into The Blue trip around the Morse/Lewis/Endeavour haunts and places of interest in Oxford was an absolute joy, lead by Elizabeth who certainly knew her subject. At all times she made us feel safe, not only by involving all the group, but also when crossing the road, and in particular keeping us safe from the cyclists. The microphone and earpiece set up as extremely efficient and kept us involved with all the information, whether we at the front or the rear of the group. We were also very lucky with the weather, because although it was wet on a couple of occasions, and on those occasions she had found us a suitable covering to stand under. Anyone going on this trip should pay close attention to the amount of cobbled area which is VERY taxing on the feet and ankles!. They do mention it at the time of booking, but you don't realise how much cobbled area there is until you get there.

Thank you very, very much for this special and detailed review. I have shared with Elizabeth and she was thrilled. We do believe that the headset system enhances the tour as it not only allows for 'social distancing' but also means everyone can hear all the time and is, in our opinion, invaluable! Yes indeed - many uneven surfaces in Oxford (we are used to it) but defiantly recommend wearing sturdy shoes (high heels can be left at home!). With very best wishes Heidi and Elizabeth

Chris our wonderful guide was a local and former student of the city back in the 70's. His light hearted and humorous anecdotes coupled with historical facts and notations of former alma maters and famous locals, provided a perfectly tailored and balanced presentation of a city with an abundance of culture and history. i would highly recommend the guided tour as your first port of call as it gave us a far greater sense of knowing when exploring the city on our own, enhancing its charm and enjoyment.

The guide, Heid, was amazing. She knew the episodes of the three series inside out and was able to tailor the tour to suit us. She had lots of extra information that I did not already know despite reading many books about the programmes. It was a bitterly cold, wet day but she found shelter where we could and the tour did not suffer as a result.

A 2 hour University and city tour with our guide Tony who was really knowledgeable and an enthusiastic tour guide, Well spoken and stuck to the brief of the historic facts with a touch of humour here and there.
We were part of 8 x people in our small group plus the guide. We walked around the central streets and did not enter any buildings. It was at the beginning of the Christmas Market period and quite busy at 1pm -3pm.

A different view of Oxford! You need to be familiar with the Morse/Lewis/Endeavour series for it to be worthwhile. An interesting tour by a knowledgeable guide. A real bonus was the earpiece/headset as you could clearly hear the guide even with all the traffic and building noise. It also meant you could be safely distanced and still hear unlike other groups we saw huddled round their guide.

Thank you for your review. Delighted you enjoyed the tour! Headsets are only available for direct bookings and not on all tours (as not all guides have) but I love them. Do not hesitate to reach out to us if these are important to you. With best wishes Heidi and Elizabeth

Oxford was open but with rising infection rates reported, we had concerns but decided to go ahead. the tour guide Elizabeth did her best to replace things we couldn't do with anecdotes and trips to pub premises frequented by the cast and seen in Morse. it was enjoyable and helps orient the city centre for you so that you can undertake further exploration on your own. we were not able to go into any of the colleges, which was a great shame, but in the future we may return to do that part!

Thank you for leaving this review. We do hope you will return when colleges will hopefully be open again but we do feel that this does not detract from the tour given the circumstances at the moment and we love to showing you around! With best wishes Heidi

We really enjoyed the tour with Heidi, in spite of the rain!! she gave a very enjoyable explanation and introduction to the many places in oxford where these series were filmed. We were able to see some places where iconic scenes were filmed including the final more film. we also were able to visit a beautiful college garden at st John's college. She was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide and we would recommend this for any fans of these programmes.

Our guide (Heidi) was very responsive and flexible in accommodating all our time constraints and preferences. The tour itself was really great, we saw all the main sites in central Oxford and got a concise history of the city and the university, interwoven with fun little anecdotes. It was very entertaining, educational and fun. Heidi was super friendly and had answers to all our questions.
