Vox walking tour .
We did the 1 1/2 hour walking tour with Jeremy. He was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and amusing. We learned a great deal about the university and the city and he had some memorable anecdotes about past and present politicians.

The walking tour as part of the bronze ticket on the hop on hop off bus was great. Policeman Pete did an amazing job, giving us 45 minutes of interesting information while keeping us in the shade on a very hot day. The Turf Tavern was a great tip

We just did the walking tour as a bus tour around a walkable city seems unnecessary. Chris, our guide for the walking tour was excellent. He has a wealth of information to give out and took us around all of the important parts of Oxford.

Having studied a brochure in our hotel, we decided that we would enjoy a bus tour and walking tour so decided to buy Silver tickets. Arriving at the bus station in time for the first bus we watched as the lad opened up. Then play with his phone until we interrupted him to ask about the timing of walking tours and about ‘live guided’ buses. He didn’t know about guided buses. We bought tickets and got to the bus. We asked the driver about which buses had live guides - and he didn’t know. We enjoyed a complete tour , but with recorded commentary. Then we took another bus to get off to catch walking tour from Carfax tower. Hooray! We had Greg as a guide!!! Terrific his insight and personal touches so enhanced our enjoyment. It was a shame we had to get off ! We got toCarfax Tower - only to discover that the bus station lad had given us wrong information about times So we missed the tour - we had paid for!!!
If times are not as advertised, at least your staff could highlight this!!! Guided tours are sooooo much better than recorded

On an extremely hot day in Oxford the hop on hop off bus was a godsend.
Convenient pick up from outside the train station.
Full circuit only 60 minutes.
Usual headphones and interesting facts but I am part of the tour we had the incredibly interesting Greg.
Was excellent apart from some of the thoughtless and rude passengers who insisted on having their own conversations whilst some of us were trying to listen to the information being provided.
Definitely worth the £17.

The bus trip was informative, and gave an insight into the colleges as well as other historical events. Its and automated narrative via personal issue headphone you plug into the seat in front. There are several stops you can alight to pick up a short walking tour with a tour guide. Again, very informative and a great way to see detail with a personal touch. Recommended.

Had a walking tour with Chris Cochran.
My wife and I were the only members of the group and it promptly started raining so I didn't have high hopes. However, in fact, Chris was knowledgeable and gave us a really good tour of the centre of Oxford. Historical buildings, college quads, filming locations - he covered them all. He even carried on the tour for longer than he was obliged. All in all, a very good experience and recommended.

Excellent value for money. We had a brilliant live guide in Greg who knew his stuff and thoroughly enjoyed the trip.
Later the same day we had a fabulous walking tour with Mel who took us to places where the bus can’t reach! We found out that Mel is a fellow Mancunian.
We would definitely recommend both tours. Thank you.

I work for a bus company and appreciate good driving. Linda is the first female driver I've come across on a tourist bus. She was smooth with no jerking or harsh braking whatsoever. Enjoyed the tour despite not taking advantage of the hop on hop off experience.

Chris Cochran was our Guide for a Walking Tour of Oxford. Chris was friendly and really knowledgeable about Oxford. He went out of his way to personalise the tour for us. Would definitely recommend Chris and this walking tour.

My husband and I are going to stay at Travelodge Peartree, Oxford in December. Where would the nearest pick up stop be for us please and how would we get there without driving in to the city as we are not familiar with the area. Thank you

Adults - £14.50
Students - £12.50
Seniors - £11.50
Children - £8.50
Family - £39.50 (2 adults & 2 to 3 children aged 5yrs to 15yrs)
