We booked the Footgolf for an End of Season do come Presentation Event for our Under 18's Football Team. We were quite a large party of 25 'Golfers' plus an additional 15 who joined us afterwards for a BBQ. The lads set of for their Golf whilst the rest of us enjoyed a drink on the patio. As the weather was kind to us, we were able to use the patio area for our medal presentations. We then enjoyed the plentiful BBQ, there was more than enough food for a bunch of hungry 18 year olds. All in all the day was spot on, something a little different. Full credit to Mary and her team for all their hard work. Greatly appreciated.

Very enjoyable golf, great views over Oxford. Very links style course with plenty of open spaces. Just 10 minutes from Oxford and 18 pounds for 8 holes.

This was a family get together come Birthday celebration and so we decided to give Footgolf a go. It's the first time that we had ever tried it and didn't know what to expect. There were 10 of us in total and it cost around £100 with child discounts etc. You paid a £5 deposit per ball, got your scorecards and off you went. They do have changing rooms there if you want to change into shorts etc and I do recommend that if it is at all warm. It is on a hill so take a jumper/jacket if the weather isn't sunny.
You walk around the side of the clubhouse and down the track to the Footgolf course. They also have a couple of proper golf courses here so make sure you look for the football signs.
The course itself is quite basic for most of the holes but there are a few which are real fun.
Basically you just kick a ball along a course and try to get it into the large hole (with a flag in it) using only your foot. The one thing that surprised us the most was how far we couldn't kick a ball. You look at the tee and then look at the flag and think you can easily reach it. In reality, once you have taken your run up and kicked the ball as hard as you can, you barely make it a third of the way!
One of the holes saw you having to kick down onto a green that was 15 metres or so below you. The trick to this one was to barely nudge it over the edge of the tee box and let it makes it's own way down the hill. Experts however would argue that a nice chip, with backspin, would be the best option. The next hole though was impossible as you had to kick back up and over the same hill. The only way we managed to do this was with a goalkeeper style drop kick, and even then it took a few goes.
This was a fun day out. The kids really enjoyed it and ended up dribbling the ball down the fairway when they got tired. My daughter got a bit bored by the end but all in all it was a great experience. Something different.

I am a past member of this course who hadn't played for a number of years . A few days ago I was talked into brushing the dust of the clubs and popping up for a round and OMG what a terrific day we had. The staff were very welcoming and the course was great , There has been so much work on the course , the greens are excellent and the fairways too. If you are visiting Oxford pop along and if you haven't been for a long time give it a go , you,ll be glad you did.

Played this course a year or two ago and was in poor condition. However what a turn around the course is in great shape now. The clubhouse is really welcoming and really friendly and views are stunning looking over Oxford.

Let's first start by saying how friendly the staff are. The course is challenging but gives you a chance. Greens run true but undulations make every putt a difficult one. Great views of Oxford and the fact the groupon deal was £9 it makes the hole day an enjoyable one. Thanks to all the team. If you read this I am the guy who had the bacon roll today.
Many thanks as I will be passing this onto other golfing friends.

We booked for 4 adults, 3 children (12, 9 & 6) to play foot golf they all found it fun, but only the 12 and 9 year old finished the 18 holes, so was a bit of a waste of money for the 6 year old and adult who had to take her home! but we should have checked this before going. The course is brilliant, well planned out, in fact better than other foot golf courses experienced. It had a lake and hidden holes uphills which added an extra dimension. You need to be fairly fit to keep the pace up and all the walking, this would not be suitable for people not steady on their feet (unless you hire a buggy!). All the players had fun and will definitely go back.

Played the 18 hole course and really enjoyed the course.

A gentle start quickly turns tricky with hills and well protected greens. Great views of Oxford most of the way round. It's hilltop position means that wind will factor however.

Greens and tees are fine but there are a few GUR's in places alongside some fairways. That said it's great value and I will definitely play again.
