Brilliant!!
May 2019 • Family
Brilliant day for my son's bday treat. The course is great, our instructor was very knowledgeable, friendly and put everyone at ease.
The course took just over 3 hours to complete, lots of different obstacles for different abilities. Would recommend taking gloves as no gloves provided and the children had sore hands ..
I would of given 5 stars but there was just a few tweaks that would make it 5!* The toilets were pretty bad they need bit more cleaning and maintenance, the hut area could be utilised selling snacks and drinks etc.. apart from that a fab day had by all , thank you!!

Great work out both physically and mentally
Apr 2018
Took 3 children (girls, aged 13) for a birthday treat...and joined in myself.
I am not completely unfit and thought of myself as quite gutsy and strong, however a little bit of humble pie was eaten internally at High Ropes.
I reckoned I'd be able to cope with the most difficult course but chickened out of a couple of them...and just wasn't strong enough for some!
The jump at the end, I really didn't feel the need to do, but was sort of pushed into it by the children I was with who said I would regret not doing it. So I made them all do it first to see if it was safe and then did it myself. I wouldn't rush to repeat the experience but I am very glad I did it, it is quite an incredible feeling, and really really scary!

A great treat for boys/girls/men/women, and be prepared to get dirty, scared, and physically exhausted out (unkess it's the kind of thing you do all the time...).

Leave your nerves at the door!

Staff are friendly and have a good sense of humour, put you at east straight away once you are provided instructions and have a practice run. The courses are challenging and versatile (a whole lot of fun). The key thing to remember is that it's mind over matter!! Push yourself to do the 42ft drop at the end- you won't regret it

Had a booking while on holiday, were really looking forward to it but on the day of the booking I got ill and had to cancel. Despite cancelling on the same date and considering the reason for the cancellation, I got a refund.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all at high ropes, especially Lisa for her professionalism and communication skills.

Brilliant staff!

Can't recommend this place highly enough. The course is brilliant and most importantly the staff are the best I've seen, they seem to genuinely care about all guests and happy to be there and to help. Not sure I'm brave enough to return, but would definitely recommend this to any adventurous people!

Brilliant experience at High Ropes Oxford
Aug 2016 • Family
I took my 10 year old grandson and his friend and they had a brilliant time - even when the thunder, lightening and rain started they will had a brilliant time! The safely precautions were excellent - we had wait 20 minutes after the last flash of lightening before the climbing could start again. The staff were friendly and very competent and their climbing instructions and how to clip on the safely ropes, etc, was easy to understand. It was a group of mixed ages - mums with children (girls and boys) and a group of three 30-something girls - and everyone had great fun. There were three courses, getting a bit more difficult each time and each ending with a zip wire! Would definitely recommend and go again.

The perfect party solution!
Sep 2016 • Friends
Stuck for an idea of where to take some bored teenagers or where to go for a party? High Ropes is the perfect place! We booked a party for a group of 12 year old girls and boys and they had a fantastic time. They were given a training session and then guided through the course by David. They loved every minute of it and enjoyed all the challenges along the way. The element of competition raised the level of excitement - as they all competed with one another to see who could land on their feet on each of the three zip wires and the ultimate jump (another reviewer called it the power fan?) at the end tested their wits but with a little encouragement from David they all completed it. We can thoroughly recommend the delicious pizzas which are baked in a wood fired oven for the peckish after a few hours of swinging through the treetops. As a parent who is slightly afraid of heights, I really enjoyed being able to watch them all from the ground without having to do it myself, although seeing their enjoyment I was almost tempted to give it a go! Maybe next time! Thanks again to everyone at High Ropes for a great party.

A cracking adventure!!
Aug 2016 • Family
This is a great, fast moving, finely crafted action packed adventure playground for all ages. I visited Oxford High Ropes with a group of adults, our group was accompanied by a younger group but once up in the trees you can go your own pace. The various obstacles are brilliantly designed and well thought out, so it can be either challenging or easy but always so much fun.
To get around the High Rope course I would advise to allow a good 1-2 hours if young and fit, and 2-3 hours if like me ageing and tubby. Drink lots of water before hand or have someone walking round with your group with a bottle of water at each zone end for refreshment as it is thirsty work.

Fun for all the family
Sep 2015 • Family
We took our grandchildren (10,12,16) there yesterday morning. There was only other couple in or group so the training session with Ryan was both informative and quick. I managed all three levels with the boys (my husband skipped level three). My middle grandson got scared at the last zip wire but one of the team talked him through it and helped him overcome his fears and led him down. My oldest grandson did the power fan and loved it. We all had a great time - we were there for four hours! A big thank you to the team for making it a fun day.
