A wonderful morning making fudge in Oxford with Joe as our instructor. We had a great time making it for my wife’s birthday and Joe and Oshin in the shop were so welcoming, knowledgeable and we had a great laugh during the session. It’s great fun and so nice to taste their lovely flavours - and hope that yours comes out as good as theirs. Highly recommend as it was well worth the money and the venue puts on a great show, too!

Mid-afternoon snack while exploring the sights of Oxford was easily sorted by the Fudge kitchen, large slices of Fudge after a couple of free samples to taste before you purchase, lemon sherbet is divine.

Stumbled across this gem of a shop. The free sample showcased some fab fudge.
Called back on way back to car for my box.
We took 4 slices for £17. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Good quality fudge.
We bought
Salted Caramel, hot cross bun, normal fudge and dark chocolate with sea salt.

Missed seeing it been cooked but could see the preparation area.

Its easy to get drawn into this fudge shop. They jovially offer free samples outside.Sadly this is not like real Scottish Tablet Fudge which is dry crumbly .Their fudge is oily greasy and too sweet.
Nice try but sadly not for the connoisseur maybe the touristy.
Situated near a horribly busy and dangerous tourist corner with buses rolling around close to the pavements where you get pushed off by large groups, the beggars everywhere hogging pavement space dont help.

I visited the fudge kitchen with my friends, the shop is very small but the staff are very friendly. They let you try all the different sorts of fudge which tastes excellent.

It's quite expensive though, it's between £4.50 and £5.50 for one slice of fudge or you can buy 4 slices for £16. When I got home and cut the fudge into pieces I realised it was actually quite a small quantity and it's a bit of a waste of money for a bit of fudge which tastes quite sickly sweet.

felt the whole experience from being asked to wear badly stained and dirty over coats and straw hats on entry to the bill at the end was too artificial. The sweet American fudge was fine just the small kitchen area was a little cramped and with Poor hand washing facilities and no where to leave your outer gear whilst you made the fudge was mean and second rate to continental sweet shops.
Felt the shop has worn well past its best and needed a good cleaning. The staff are pleasant without being too sweet, mind a date on the fudge slices we got after making in would have been an idea.

After being screamed at to come in for free fudge sample by an over enthusiastic guy obviously listening to his own music on headphones (tip if you can't hear your own voice try talking a little quieter) and swinging a sign on a stick like a maniac, I went in for some Fudge!! I have tasted Lots of fudge over the years usually a smooth velvety experience this was like a block of sugar with a flavour and not a nice flavour at that!! the prices are very expensive! I'd suggest popping to Thornton's better tasting cheaper price!

Hello! Apologies for your bad experience with us last year. I’m aware of the person on the street you are talking about. I can confirm that he doesn’t actually work for us, simply a fan that wanted to have a go on the paddle. I have not let him have a go since! I am grateful that despite his over excitable behaviour you came in and had a taste anyway. Thank you for trying! We do actually try and achieve a smooth creamy texture with all of our fudge but because they’re all hand made, textures can vary from batch to batch. We generally make fudge harder in this weather to prevent fudge melting in people’s warm homes. If you would like, please accept my offer of a free slice of fudge, I’ll be happy attempt to convert you back to Fudge Kitchen goodness! Simply come in store with this review on your phone and I’ll swap it for fudge. All my love, (fudge love) Toby x

You´ll have to visit Fudge Kitchen when you´re in Oxford. You can try the delicious Fudge for free. Also you can watch it being made in front of you. The smell in there is really nice, as you can imagine. ;-) The site is small but worth visiting it.

Our 8 year old celebrated her birthday at Fudge kitchen with 5 friends. They had a fantastic time. They split into two teams of 3 and competed to make caramel fudge. The party hosts Wilbur and Martin were absolutely super with the kids- highly entertaining and very energetic- and patient. The kids had so much fun learning how to make fudge and tasting the samples, and got to take slabs home. We highly recommend Fudge Kitchen for small birthday parties as well as coming in to get the best fudge in town. The chocolate sea salt is the best by far. Thanks for a great day!

I love this place, they give you samples to try. The fudge is expensive but worth it. So soft in the middle, it is very sweet but that's how fudge should be. I bought the vanilla and sea salt flavour they are both delicious. I also bought the vegan one for my sister and that was nice as well. Will definitely be visiting again. Staff are friendly and helpful too.
