Great college and grounds
Sep 2021
Another great visit of a great college with lovely gardens that you can walk round, was not a lot we could go round inside (think due to students being back) but the lovely gardens are worth a visit

More modern architecture
Feb 2020
Plenty of beautiful college building to view while wandering the streets of Oxford but this one is a more modern style on the north side of the city but well worth a viewing.

Now you're talking!
Feb 2020
When I was an undergraduate, there was a club (well an excuse to have a drink) dedicated to the demolition of Keble college, and in order to join you had to produce a lump of the edifice! That demonstrates the strong feeling that this red brick gothic monstrosity evoked among other colleges constructed with soft, yellow Cotswold stone. But it is magnificent! Towering spires and buttresses more like Gormenghast than Hogwarts, and a chapel that is impressive as anything (leaving aside Christ Church cathedral, which is not really the same thing).

My Alma Mater, Keble boasts a unique and interesting architectural style. The staff are always friendly so do visit one of theOxford's smaller colleges.

Beautiful Oxford College
Sep 2019
We ate a dinner here after a graduation ceremony. The college is exactly what you would expect in Oxford with beautiful buildings and manicured grounds. If you ever get a chance to eat at any of the colleges it is a real treat.

fantastic 2 day stay
Aug 2019
This was a 2 day stay as part of the Hidden Hero's Butler Trust. The college it self is a fantastic building with so much history attached to it. We had lunch on 2 days 1 evening meal and 1 breakfast, every meal was delicious, fresh and presently so well.
The evening meal in the dining hall was a little like a scene from Harry Potter! Long tables and benches in a beautiful, highly decorated hall. Starter was spinach and cream cheese mousse with lamb as the main and lemon meringue with raspberry sorbet for afters. service was faultless, swift and professional.
So glad I had a chance to stay at this wonderful place.

The surrounding makes it up for the room
Jul 2019 • Business
The surrounding makes it up for the room, if you going solo I recommend to book a single dorm, and since you know it is a dorm don't expect something crazy. It's a decent room with a private bathroom. The surroundings of keble is amazing with beautiful architecture like all Oxford. Enjoy!

The home of one of my favourite paintings
May 2019 • Solo
I don't know much about the college, but William Holman Hunt's 'Light of the World' hangs in the chapel here. In my opinion, t's one of the most beautiful Pre-Raphaelite paintings and I don't think anyone could fail to be moved by it. Get away from the Oxford crowds for 20 minutes to gaze at it and you won't be disappointed.

Light of The World
Aug 2018 • Family
This is a beautifully built set of brick buildings, with a stunning Chapel.
Housed within the Chapel's Sacristy is William Holman Hunt's Light of the World painting, depicting Jesus holding a lamp and knocking on a door. This is representative, I believe, of Jesus knocking on someone's heart/mind for them to open the door and let His light in. If you look closely, the door in the painting has no handle of any type on the outside. Jesus has to be invited in.
The painting is absolutely stunning and I feel every visitor to Oxford should see it at least once per visit.
