Footprints Tours is Oxford's most highly reviewed tour operator, and the only one run by students! Our famous Free Walking Tour is perhaps the most enjoyable way to acquaint yourself with our beautiful city: we also run tours of the University; pub...more

Trevor was amazing. We went the full family with twin 3 year olds. And Trevor was so so patient in waiting everytime we reached with them slowly before starting. Still he gave all the information and the tour was really memorable.
Kudos to footprint tours.
Great tour from a current student, who was confident, witty but not arrogant. Saw lots and heard all the inside info, perfect. Only point I would question is the price: 17 euro pp, while a free tour by the same company starts at the same...More
Jo gave our group a really lively, interesting and thoroughly engaging tour of Oxford Uni. She injected her own life experience in Oxford as we toured the Uni.
The tour was thoroughly enjoyable and we would recommend it to everyone 😄.
My boyfriend and I went to London in November, we only had a day in Oxford but wanted to make sure we saw everything we could in a short amount of time.
We were standing on the street looking at our options when we were...More

Hello there. The routes our guides take will depend entirely on the nature of the group. If any of our guests have prams, or use wheelchairs, we will always ensure that the route is appropriate for all guests :)
Hello everyone. I'm coming to London for a week, and decided to spend half a day in Oxford. I understand that Footprints have the best tours - but I cannot decide which tour to take - the free one, with larger group, mostly on the outside, or the priced one, smaller group, and mostly inside the buildings? Just to make clear, the money is not the issue - I just want to make the most out of the day. What do you think?

Frontistiria: Teaching English in Greece (2 Replies)
I'm looking for someone with experience teaching English in a Greek frontisteria. I'm considering this job option and would like to know how your experience was. Any wisdom you have on the subject would be greatly appreciated. I'm in love with Crete, but would be open to working on other islands as well. Questions: 1) There seem to be several agencies (TeachAbroad, Footprints Recruiting) who hire English speakers to teach at these frontisterias. Is it necessary to go through these...More

Hi, although my job is not teaching english I have worked in a frontistirio part time when I was in University so I will try to answer some of your questions. 1) There seem to be several agencies (TeachAbroad, Footprints Recruiting) who hire English speakers to teach at these frontisterias. Is it necessary to go through these agencies or will I have luck simply approaching schools in August? I do not know about those agencies but a common way of finding a gob in a frontisirio is calling...More

Footprints Tour in Oxford (4 Replies)
Hello, I found a free tour company called Footprints Tour and booked a spot for myself for a tour in Oxford, near Oxford University area. I was wondering if any of you know if the company is legitimate and if it is actually worth the time to go on tour with them? Also, I booked a space and the company required that I pay 2 GBP but I did not, so do you know if this will affect my reservation anyhow? Thank you for all of your help.

Have you read what the £2 entitles you to? For such a paltry amount I would pay it, though I am a bit suspicious of a website that does not know the difference between your and you're. With nearly 1200 reviews on TA, overwhelmingly positive, you can be assured this company is legitimate. For what it's worth, I would say that the tip should be £10 if you really enjoyed it and £5 if it was only so-so.
