Has seen better days!
Jun 2019
We had first visited this small shopping mall two years prior to our most recent visit to Oxford. This was before the nearby Oxford Westgate shopping centre had opened. Even at that time, it was not particularly busy.
While in Oxford this time, we visited the shopping mall for another quick look. Unfortunately, it appeared that the opening of the new nearby shopping centre had drastically affected businesses in this shopping mall. A number of shops were closed and empty whilst those still open for business had very few customers.
There are much better shopping opportunities at the Westgate Shopping Centre. The Clarendon
Centre’s best days are sadly behind it!

Classy shopping arcade
Aug 2019
Although obviously not as grand as the new Westgate Centre, the Clarendon is a nicely-designed shopping arcade. With plenty of space to walk, and a selection of more general shops(as opposed to the 'Designer' ones in the Westgate)it is definitely a place to visit. With both the Works and TK Maxx recently opening shops here, the atmosphere is buzzing once again. Although everyone swarms to the Westgate, you should certainly take a look in here before you do so.

Not the Best Shopping in the City Centre
Jun 2019 • Couples
We popped in here on Saturday while in the city. The centre is clean and tidy, but there is not a great selection of shops here especially compared the the Westgate Shopping Centre located 200m down the road. But if you like shopping in a quiet uncrowded environment or you want to grab a quiet coffee this may be the place for you. If you are looking for selection and variety in your shopping I would go to Westgate.

Unique

Clarendon shopping centre is quite unique in our opinion and we found it quite enjoyable for a small wander around. Unique shops in an quaint environment. Something a little different. Recommend a visit.

A good enough shopping centre
Jul 2018
The Clarendon has some high street shops and places to get a coffee. Yeah
It’s often quieter than the newly built shopping centre nearby.
It’s also near to a lot of other shops on the streets outside

Good shopping centre, easily overlooked
Apr 2018 • Couples
This small shopping centre/mall is easily overlooked. You can access it from Cornmarket, Queen Street or New Inn Hall Street. It has a good selection of shops, including the Gap, Zara, H&M, and Currys/PC World. There is a very good Costa on the corner inside which is a very good place to watch the world go by. This is a good rainy day shopping centre, and an interesting short cut between Queen Street and Cornmarket

Small shopping centre
Feb 2018 • Couples
Located in Cornmarket Street is Clarendon shopping centre that has some shops and a coffee shop that we stopped at for a coffee and a rest. Fairly busy on a Thursday afternoon but nothing major.

Nothing special!
Jul 2017 • Couples
While spending some time shopping along the Cornmarket Street pedestrian mall we popped into this shopping centre to take a quick look.
We were not exactly over-whelmed by what we found. The small shopping centre is home to a number of small chain store and a couple of coffee shops.
There was nothing out of the ordinary, or of great interest to us and so after only a short time, we departed.
This shopping centre appears to cater predominantly for the locals. Tourists would be better off looking elsewhere!
