I took two boys i look after and they loved it. The staff were very friendly and great with the children. It was great that the children had the freedom to explore and check out the animal.

Fun mini trip...

Visited here with husband and young son, quite a struggle to find the place as no visible signs and we were unaware it was at the back of a garden centre.

Clean, well kept animals. Large pens allow kids to go in and have a hands on experience with guinea pigs/rabbits/goats. Friendly owner and just a nice little place to have a wonder round!

Only negative was some of the rabbits had green water bottles (algae) and one hutch with two rabbits had an empty bottle. Not really acceptable in the middle of a warm day.

Other than that, it was a pleasing experience. Drop in if you have kids who love animals.

I went along to this with my young son on their opening day. Really enjoyed ourselves and learnt a fair bit too about the animals. There is a lovely picnic area and working forge as well as goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits, a lamb called Larry and much more. You are encourages to handle and stroke some of the animals and the staff are great at explaining all the information on their breeds.

You can also combine it with a trip to Hilltop Garden Centre who also have a pretty wicked indoor soft play area!
