Housed in a Tudor building on the High Street, this small museum is a credible volunteer effort. Local memorabilia faithfully collected and carefully displayed. Non-locals can find it charming for a quick visit, as we did.

This is only a small museum with exhibits which convey something of the local history. It also has a fascinating collection of samplers.

We spent an enjoyable hour or so in this small but fascinating museum full of local treasures and information about the local buildings. The museum has limited opening hours and is staffed by volunteers.
