good little rock bar. pre drink or end of night place

Open late so I often go at then end of a night out. Always have rock music playing which is nice if you like that. Friendly atmosphere and a better option then some other local bars

Decent end of night option

Open later than the nearby Forum Club, with cheap drinks and OK staff. Not the most salubrious of places but a fine option for the end of the night.

This pub in filthy, i would personally not recommed this pub to anyone. Toilets were minging with massive cracks in the toilet seat... Downstairs in the bar wasnt any better and bar man was clearlynot bothered and rude.... Avoid

best late night bar in all the land

love this place. always go when i visit this fine city. it's like an 80's vision of a futuristic cowboy saloon playing a very decent and variety of rock/hard rock/metal and all other subgenres

Worst pub ever.

I went into this pub with my partner and two friends, all of whom were desperate to use the toilet. I waited at the bar for them to return and whilst this was happening the bar man shouted at me "oh, you're all just here to use the toilet then". I explained to him that we were buying drinks when they returned and he just grunted and turned around. When they returned he was very impolite, grabbing drinks and dumping them down on the counter in a no way friendly manner. To make it worse it was VERY unclean. Ripped sofas, dust on the floor you wouldn't get in an abandoned building. The shutters on the windows didn't help with this impression either. Interesting stuff on the walls but this was overtaken by how uncomfortable it was being sat in there. Everyone finished their drinks quickly and we got out as soon as we could. Never again. Worst establishment to have ever taken money from me.

Used to be better, gone way downhill now

It's definitely an end of the night establishment, but with being quite sober and out celebrating, it didn't cut it. The rock music was alright and the drinks were ok...but that was the end of the good bits. The place looks run down and shabby. The toilets were horrible, I mean absolutely terrible. Cracked seats and bodily fluid all over, eww! Got out of there fast. Some of the drunk people were dubious looking, so drinks were drank rapidly and an exit was made sharpish! Wouldn't go back again as no love or care is being taken about this place. It needs a miracle!
