I can imagine at the right time this place is banging. I swung by about 16.30 on a cold & miserable Saturday afternoon. I like real ale, couldn't see any so had a pint of Guinness (when in Rome....). It was very good.

It looked like there was a problem with the heating as electric radiators were strategically placed. I could smell disinfectant....but I guess you should look at that as a positive.

Because of the time of day there were just a few souls in, the barman was top chap. It was a bit scruffy, but for a pub that really doesn't matter.

I can't quite remember when it was the Mansfield Arms, but do remember it being Blueberries, Ledgers & Bensons. Keogh's is better than all of them!

As I say, on the right day I bet it's a cracker. I must go back on that day.

An Irish pub frequented by Irish people. Irish folk music on the go. Irish regulars and Irish staff. Reasonable décor, not over done in green or anything daft like that, decent beer. Toilets could do with an uplift.

IRA music blasting out with all the locals singing"@#*% off British soldiers" toilets are revolting, avoid like the plague.

What a hole, dirty, far too loud, I'm not old but this was bad, the bartender ignorant, stuck to the floor, needed a good clean, god only knows what the toilets were like, you need to improve or you will shut. Would not advise a visit.

My twin brother Stephen and I were wandering around this part of town and dropped into This superb Irish pub and what a great find.
Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here, it's your typical Irish pub, eclectic decor and furnishings, beer and guinness posters and enamels adorning the walls and a solid wood serving bar that dominates the main bar area, there's also plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, it's just one cool place to unwind in.
We were here on a Saturday evening, pub was bouncing with a great atmosphere, we ordered a guinness each, guinness was poured in the correct manner even allowing for the all important settle, we just chilled out and took in the great Irish pub we were in.
My guinness was superb, iced cold, thick and creamy, a pleasant change from the more lager style beers we had been drinking earlier on in the day.
We both really enjoyed our visit to here before we moved on and for a first time visit we were very impressed with Keogh's Irish Pub.
Keogh's Irish Pub is easy to locate along Mansfield Road.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Thursday, Midday till Midnight.
Friday & Saturday, Midday till 2am.
Sunday, Midday till Midnight.
A great Irish pub, if your in the area well worth checking out.

this place use to be good when it first opened seven or eight years ago but now this place has gone down the toilet. they don't play any Irish music and it's very hard to get served as well and the toilets and bloody vile it seems there have been cleaned since the Titanic set sail.
Best thing to do.is shut the place down

I went into Keoghs on a trip to Nottingham for the half marathon and this pub has a good vibe to it. The staff are friendly and theres a great vibe to this pub because of it. The afternnon music is great and theres nice seatong at the back. The Guinness on tap tasts really nice. Its the best Guinness in Town. Id recommend this place to anybody who likes Guinness, Music and the Irish craic

Visited during the week, friendly staff with plenty of room.

It's not a classy place by any means, but great for a pint and to watch the football or if there is live music.

I come here often, particularly if I have time to kill in town. Damo is your typical friendly Irish barman, very relaxed and always friendly and ready to hear about my day.

You do get some colourful characters in here but it shouldn't detract from it still being a good pub, which is more authentic Irish than most
