The pub is okay, not cheapest around but not bad. The outdoor area with the burger van is great, inside needs improvement. The £5 card limit is annoying and stops us having the odd drink occasionally

My friends and I went here on a Tuesday evening to watch a game of football which the pub had previously advertised. We were treated with disrespect and complete and utter rudeness. We have visited this pub on numerous occasions but can say with certainty we will never be returning. We were harassed, insulted and threatened for the simple reason of not buying drinks fast enough before we sat down. We were threatened by another customer who was later supported by staff members in verbally abusing us which both shocked and horrified us. Between 6 of us over 20 drinks were purchased and we were still continually harassed and interrogated to buy more drinks. Despite this being one of the most highly anticipated games of the season we left early as we felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome, not something we expect from a local pub.

This was a prearranged reunion of old army buddies and we used this place as the landlord Phil is ex forces. He looked after us totally and gave us great rates on food and he was sociable and accommodating. The pub itself is perfectly located along the main road with local hotels. He even put a band on for us who were spot on

I couldn't fault anything about this place and Phil went the extra mile and beyond to ensure our reunion was a success

The staff are shockingly rude and we’re screaming at us when we accidentally ordered drinks to the wrong table even when we apologised.
