Visited one evening in earlu October to see Frank Turner performing a socially distanced gig. Performing on the bandstand he was awesome as were the venue and the promoters. Fantastically organised with full social distancing and enough space for everyone to sit down whether they were there solo or in a max group of six. A big choice of picnic tables, straw bales, deck chairs and benches combined with a bar run by a local micro brewery made the evening even more surreal than it sounds. Absolutely brilliant.

A walk through the Arboretum in lockdown is one of many places to visit, well maintained band stand block off but overall a pleasant place to visit, even in the rain like today.

I had been to Nottingham before but I don't remember seeing this. A beautiful park set into the side of a hill. Easily accessible from the centre of the city.
