About
Some would say that Hidden Bar is one of the best cocktail bars in Nottingham - and who are we to disagree? This spectacular cocktail bar is currently only available for private functions. If you're looking for a bar in Nottingham to host your big event, Hidden Bar can accommodate up to 120 of your most important people, be they clients, family or friends. With giraffe patterned stools and plush furnishings throughout, Hidden Bar is sensual and sleek in its decor. The bar itself boasts a fine list of wines, draughts and ecocative cocktail recipes. Classic cocktails include mojitos and margaritas while the impressive short cocktails include signature creations The Godfather (Southern Comfort mixed with Bitters and Woodford Reserve) and Cherry Bliss - a tantalising mix of Cherry Marnier Liqueur, Disaronno and cranberry juice with a twist of lime. As cocktail bars in Nottingham go, Hidden Bar at Alea Nottingham is up there with the greats.

After the initial hype when it opened we wanted to try it.
So, what can I say.
A bouncer on the door when enter, then grimy dirty steps that appear to be the entrance to a car park where you expect to get mugged, raped or killed.
After trapsing up four flights if steps, you are warmingly greater by some pathetic astro turf and absolutely no draft beer.
I won't lie, I didnt ask about the range of overpriced beer or if it was even possibly cold.
I can only think that the only audience this might cater for is the students that don't know anything better and like to drink turps.
Personally, anyone over 20 with any kind of pallet and sense of purpose in life, I'd avoid.
