Swore I'd never go again after the last time but relented when my family were going. The "NEW" gluten free menu looks impressive but it's still by exclusion! You can have soup WITHOUT the bread or the pate without toast so I went for the melon. The main courses were okay but when I ordered the fresh fruit salad for... More

This track is fantastic- in a lovely setting surrounded by trees. They do a lot of entertainment here- such as free prize draws, food / drink stalls and themed days. Like all tracks you do get a lot of folk showing up not for the racing, i.e. to drink in the bars or on stag / hen dos (I actually... More

First visit to this course. Got a taxi from the railway station for £6.60. Got a bus back for £2 each , which dropped us close to the station. Nice course. Fairly compact. Plenty of greenery around. I was surprised at the small crowd for a day during school holidays. We didn't eat there. Beer/ lager was the standard racecourse... More

Really enjoyed our day at the races , nothing to compare it with but felt it deserved 5* anyway. caught 44 bus from city centre (queens street ) £3.50 all day travel. Took picnic with us , beer quite expensive £4 carling but expected this. We occasionally felt unsure about where we were and were not allowed access to as... More

We had a wonderful time at the family fun day. Plus when we got inside all the attractions were free! Face painting balloon modelling fair rides, pony rides!!! If you go on the cheap I'd recommend you take your own food and drink as very expensive

Could travel round and look at all aspectsie minners enclusure etc without having to have special tickets. Cost us £9 each and was worth every penny. The only thing I would be negative about would be the amount... More

The racecourse and racing where great but our group actually left with two races still to go the bar service was the worst I have ever come across at any venue and at the age of 49 I have seen a few!,most of the staff could not speak English and I felt sorry for the girl that could because she...
