I had a fancy to visit the caves in the Broadmarsh Centre. Nottingham was a total delight, and as it was my husband's first visit, I was pleased that he found it charming, interesting and drew comparisons with Amsterdam. The cave tour is very quick....More

Not sure what I was expecting but it wasn't what I got. The tour was 30 minutes and I felt only one of 3 guides was enjoyable! It is a cheap visit so it's nice I went but it didn't leave me excited like most...More

The city of caves allows you to understand more about the history of Nottingham back to the Medieval time, down to the war time. Unexpectedly historic, a prefect development proving the possibility to co-exist a modern building and a heritage.

This is a great tour for a rainy day. Very informative of the history of Nottingham. The group guide was well informed about the history and gave a great account on what it was like in days gone by.

Hi, As the caves were designed for living and working in, most areas are large, however there is one low doorway where everyone will need to duck down. At no point are you crawling around for example. Hope that helps.
