Have wanted to visit this place for a long time and finally got round to it today. Very friendly staff on reception and the female actor was fantastic who took us around. Very informative.. jokes and interaction which made people laugh. It was fantastic....we had time to look around and would highly recommend this....one thing which would be an experience... More

This is a great place in the centre of Nottingham, really informative with lots of family-centred stuff. The tours are ticketed and you need to pay but to have a look around the galleries themselves is free. Exhibitions change regularly which keeps things fresh, cool photo-ops like standing in the dock or on the original hangman's trapdoor, and they have... More

We arrived as a family of six. Found it a bit over priced for a larger family, but we still had a great day out. Our youngest one who is four struggled a bit with some of the steps and found some areas a bit scary with the actors. But my stroppy 13 year old and 11 year thought it... More

This was booked at the last minute for a birthday afternoon out with friends, doing something different. Wow, what a building steeped in history! The 'live tour' is a good bit of fun and would really recommend it.

We had a great trip around the Galleries. It started off with some role play which we took part in. The staff were dressed for the part. The trip is a fascinating look at how we treated criminals in the past. Some of it is a bit grisly. One of the most interesting attractions in Nottingham. I don't think it... More

Went there with a group and really enjoyed it. It was very informative and the kids loved it. The justice court actors were brilliant.

Fun evening with a few jumps! Would have liked to do the proper ghost tour but it was already booked up, so obviously a popular thing to do.

I visited new years eve and the tour of this historic building in Nottingham was very good and very informative. It was very interesting to see the old court room and then have a look around the old jail. The jail is very eerie and it is very hard to imagine anyone every surviving or living here, as conditions are... More

We visited the Galleries of Justice this week and we were not disappointed. Our visit was on a quiet Wednesday morning, so we were the only ones on the tour at 10:30am, but the guide was fantastic; I didn't manage to catch his name, but he was super friendly and informative and I'm sure he said he used to work...
