First of all, may I say how fantastic the pantomime was. It was a truly great performance. However, the experience was overshadowed by what the theatre had the audacity to call coffee. I really don't know whether any actual coffee was in the drink I had, even though it was coffee coloured. I can only assume they had got the... More

I went to see 'Aladdin' at the Nottingham Playhouse just before Christmas. I think it was the 9th year in a row that I've attended a pantomime at this venue. A panto at the Playhouse is one of the jewels in Nottingham's crown. It's always funny, professional on every level (music, sets, etc.) and one of the highlights of the... More

Came here with a friend to see the Revenger's Tragedy, amazing amazing play and a truly gorgeous little theatre! Brilliant to have a mixture of traditional and new plays on offer- would definitely come again

Fantastic show. My face hurt from laughing so much. A wonderful venue with great accessibility for the less mobile.

Rich Hall was excellent. However, the Playhouse deprived him of a perfect venue. The place seemed shabby and the drinks were definitely watered down in my opinion, either that or there was so much ice that there wasn't room for the drink! It would appear the interval drinks are now under the same management as Cast, rather poor! I hope... More

Arrive early for the bar if going to a show but otherwise fine with cheerful staff. Great show with Rich Hall , seats ok for a couple of hours but not much more.

We went to see the excellent "The Underground Man" last night. We're not regulars, we've only been once before (1984, last year - brilliant!!), but this time we were in the small Neville Theatre upstairs, so we were really close to the actors. Although this did cause me some problems with seeing what was going on, I don't feel I... More

We've been here several times and always have a great time, To be fair,it is rarely sold out so we generally are able to move seats so that we have plenty of room to spread out! Also buy cheaper seats and move to better ones if you can is a good trick! Nice bar and outdoor seating area compliments the... More

Visited mid September whilst on business in Nottingham. Booked over the phone and picked my ticket up when I arrived pre-performance, as the online booking system was a bit long winded. With it being a hot day, the outdoor seating area is great for pre-theatre drinks, love the public art. The theatre was a wee bit warm, but the performance... More
